Maybe I've just not noticed it before and this is the norm, but kudos for all the updates throughout this weekend in this thread

Good players....? I don't know the ins and outs of the players personally but they aren't cheating and clattering opposition players anywhere close to how often this Southampton team does.
-
I'm all for Liverpool losing, but this Southampton team is full of cunts so any result is fine by me.
-
Wish refs would have the balls to give yellow for those pathetic dives.
-
Walker and Gundogan looks ready for a trip to the glue factory.
-
Fuck off making me notice that now Good thing it's only OT left.
-
I'll have what Kulusevski has eaten today.

Something wrong with the forum today? Seems incredibly slow to load anything at all. Don't have the same problem on other sites.

Nice goal, but abysmal defending from Gvardiol and the player who stopped following Maddisons run and started pointing for otherwise occupied defenders to cover for him.
-
Wannabe Joelinton trying to replicate his goal against Forest.

How is that possible? They've seemingly made a healthy profit in the transfermarket every year since 2016 when they had a massive ~1.5m EUR net spend.

He's worth it, but if there is interest from one of the very top elite teams and if he wants to leave I think we'll eventually cave in the negotiations in fear of not being able to get anything for him at the end of his contract. Could be dead wrong though Unlikely scenario though. Most likely he's here banging them in for us for years to come.
-
If someone bids for him, and if he is interested in joining them over staying here, I think we'd let him go for something around the £80m region. If someone bids for him, and he's not particularly bothered whether he stays or goes, we're immediately in the £100m+ region. There's just no way we'll run the risk of losing him for nothing if that ever becomes a realistic scenario.

Feeling a bit pessimistic about this game since there's so many positives that indicates we should get a win.

It's arguably worse to do it the older you get. It affects your body much worse. How many older players came out and praised Wenger for improving and prolonging their careers by getting them to stop drinking and eat more healthy? Maybe I've missed some recent posts, but I haven't seen any holier than thou stuff. Just people correctly recognising that it isn't good nor professional for an elite athlete to get pisssed in general whether it's Trippier or anyone else.

Think Longstaff makes more sense against teams that will control possession against us. Would prefer Tonali for his better passing and pace to help us out when Forest tries to catch us on the break. Happy with the team otherwise, and to his credit Longstaff has done well lately so can't complain too much.

I know they do. Just saying it isn't professional when you are an athlete. Not judging. I would never be able to stay away from alchohol completely either. Especially at that age, with that much money.
