If true then Man Utd are throwing silly money after him, with the promise of much more investment in players than he has here. We aren't at their level yet as a club except on the field with our first team (mostly thanks to Howe). Heart says he should stay here and create something from scratch, but objectively looking at it, if he has the chance to get the most (or second most after Real Madrid) sought after opportunity in world football for his type of position with a significant salary increase, I can understand why he would want to leave.

No other countries in Europe at least has more than one cup. It's just stupid. Can't change my mind on that. Why not make another cup or two then so more teams have a chance of winning something? Nah, have one cup, make it more attractive for the teams (CL spot for grabs) and increase the prize pool (preferably so more goes to lower league sides) and I think the overall quality of the entertainment goes up.

I normally don't really care about the league cup. I find it silly to have two domestic cups on top of the league and would ideally like to see it scrapped and rather increase the prize pool and have a CL spot up for grabs for the FA cup instead. That being said, any cup, if we win it, which means we've beat Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea and two of either Fulham, Everton, Liverpool and West Ham, is a fucking great achievement. Without checking, I bet there won't be many league cup or FA cup winners the last 20+ years who's had a tougher cup win than that.

Brede Hangeland whom played under Roy for many years in two different clubs was in Norwegian studio yesterday and talked about how Roy sets up his team just as he remembered. Last time he played for Roy was 13 years ago. I admire his ability to manage at his age, but he is the most boring, defensive manager in the league by a solid margin.

Probably the fittest player in the squad. No wonder he came back in excellent condition from something that would probably ruin many others careers. Is it possible to think he is flawless, perfect and gorgeous while also hoping that he will have learnt from his season and start rotating the squad early in the season as a precaution to avoid injury problems like this season so we don't have to have three keepers on the bench even if we were to have a few freak injuries?

Big plus is his size to build more muscle on which can be so important in this league. Continue this trajectory and sky is the limit for him.
