I get it, and I didn't mean to say there isn't any corruption/favoritism/incompetence from the referees at all. Generally speaking though, over a season, the better teams tend to have slightly more penalties on account of having the ball more often in the oppositions box, but other than that it seems bad decisions evens themselves out.
