  1. Goodbye Alex you despicable c*nt. Christ, at least the Carroll sale was over with within days.
  2. Where the heck is that from? And why does it neglect to mention that our stadium and training facilities were also allowed to fall into decay? Imagine Man U players recovering in wheelie bins full of ice water, or the ref room literally falling to pieces - it was slum landlord levels of degradation.
  3. Just had a look at the Noon reviews on Google. Jesus christ Suppose it matches up with the toxic brand of our half arsed owners.
  4. https://www.forbes.com/sites/harrydecosemo/2025/07/31/newcastle-united-has-a-midfield-problem-and-nobody-is-talking-about-it/
  5. So according to the Mail (Hope?), a number of players are losing faith in the 'project', not just Isak? If the stadium proposals are abandoned and nothing comes of new training facilities, I'd rather the Saudi's just sold us. Even moderately wealthy new owner could have us floating between 5-8th as we're likely to be unless we see drastic changes.
  6. Like our stadium, training ground, sponsorships and signing, it's 'going through the process' you impatient sods.
  7. What in the shitting fuck
  8. Or he's hauled off for not trying, and then sits on the Liverpool bench in protest. He's already gone beyond the pale, so why not!
  9. Absolutely this for me. I loved pretty much every player we had in the team that day, and replaying those moments was still a joy up until this episode. Isak's despicable behaviour has somewhat spoilt that. I'd have had no problem if he'd left in a proper manner. Have we ever had another player in modern times who has betrayed us so badly?
  10. Sober reading that Caulkin article. He's not wrong that the club beyond Howe and the squad seem so distant these days. Who is actually senior and around the club day to day at the moment? Our chairman is obviously rarely around.
  11. That's what I've always said. Our income and wage bill suggest 7th is about our level, with 4-5th essentially over achieving. Challenging for 4-5th year after year will require a huge jump regular in income, which the rules obviously prevent. Unless we deliver a miracle on the transfer front in the next two weeks, 7-8th is probably where we'll finish this season.
  12. Man Utd are having a decent summer and probably no less likely than ourselves to get 5th place next season. Man U have prestige and a hefty salary on offer, so not that much of a shock.
  13. Has Krafth picked up an injury as well?! With Botman looking brittle, surely we're not going to risk starting the season with Lascelles potentially our only back up CB?

    Joe Willock

So, we now take Willock out of our atrocious subs bench for Villa and replace with the Korean hot shot
  15. Probably not untrue to be honest. But you'd have thought (hoped) we told him that if he wants out early, it must be to the continent only and we'd sounded out the big boys in Spain/German/France. As it is, it seems we've mishandled it all terribly. We're instead allowing the breakaway clubs to do a complete demolition job on our aspirations.
  16. They've probably got a £100m per year Adidas deal coming, putting them on par with City and Man U
  17. Honestly, it's like the breakaway clubs are colluding at this point
  18. I think you missed what I was referring to... In the fucking Chronicle. It was The Mag who spotted it.
  19. The Chronicle has been dead to me for a good couple of years now. Check this one out if you dare... https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/real-madrid-respond-newcastle-united-32162982
  20. Not sure if already mentioned - Liverpool's American owners looking to establish a multi-club model with the purchase of Getafe. We're going to be light years behind at this rate.
