  1. Liverpool will manage just fine, but they've completely fucked us like. Job done I suppose.
  2. Wow, was handing on by a thread that Isak could recover his reputation. But no, HE IS A CUNT HE IS A CUNT HE IS A CUNT HE IS A CUNT HE IS A CUNT HE IS A CUNT
  3. Commercial revenue shortfall of £220 million reduced to £219.5m. We're getting there lads
  4. If it doesn't happen this month (which would surprise me), Liverpool will almost certainly get their man in 2026.

    Marc Guehi

Can't help but find it hilarious that Palace will likely lose him for nowt when they could have taken £60m+ last summer.
  6. Is Isak a sociopathic loner? He could have left on good terms (which we were largely prepared for), but to burn bridges with pretty much everyone at the club and all the fans, supposedly sell his house, going on strike and behave like an absolute twat suggests either some severe personality flaws or someone who is extremely naive. If he has indeed sold a house, he must have had a guarantee from Liverpool, surely?
  7. Very reassuring to hear we've been tracking him for a while. Suggestd Howe sees a great player with the right coaching. But might mean he'll take a few months to get up to where we need him.
  8. That's ridiculously optimistic from the Athletic! Unless we pull off some transfer miracles in the next two weeks, I'd say 8th. Highlight of season will be scraping through to last 16 of CL. Pool City Arse Chelsea Villa Man U Spurs Newcastle

    Marc Guehi

'We are delighted to announce Marc Guehi has signed for Liverpool Football Club' That will be the Crystal Palace statement, not Liverpool's.
  10. That's where I see it too. £150m just isn't happening imo. Think we'll have one of Jackson or Wissa as main man, then Osula/Gordon as back up come end of the month.
  11. https://www.theguardian.com/football/picture/2025/aug/12/david-squires-on-the-premier-league-soap-opera-return-2025-26
  12. So it's pretty much nailed on we'll have failed to replace Wilson before the season starts. Dear god we're so inept
  13. Liverpool could be regularly talking to Isak for all we know, with a promise to come back in nearer end of window.
  14. Palace beat City in a final, are they rivals as well? We're light years off Liverpool, and the gap between us is beginning to look insurmountable. Liverpool have at least 4 clubs they will see as rivals above us.
  15. Isak has demonstrated he'll willingly behave like an absolute c*nt and ruin squad cohesion, so still think Liverpool will be back with £130m or so and we'll accept.
  16. Means they've got an excellent chance of 3 trophies in two seasons (if you include yesterday). It's not like missing the Europa League will cost them a fortune. Money is shite in both.

    Marc Guehi

We're setting ourselves up for major disappointment in keeping this thread going. Bidding will just mean Liverpool steps in.
  18. Nahh, I think he's genuinely an absolute c*nt as well. He just managed to hide it for a while. Don't think he gives a single fuck about us or what we've done for him. He was bored trying for us after the cup win. I can't remember a first team regular at our club who's apparently so toxic.
  19. Guess they're set to drop another £40m on Guehi then. A £300mn transfer window and can't get one over Palace in regular time.
  20. I'm sure the profits at the PLC level do handily fall under the football side
  21. Nothing we don't already know, really. Amongst all the points he makes, I think it's actually the forced Anderson sale that made be fume most. https://www.thetimes.com/sport/football/article/its-a-problem-for-newcastle-when-the-saudis-are-helping-their-rivals-b899nr29n
