I really don't want to hear anymore nonsense about players being disrespectful to fans when they pull these stunts, because there's fans that are no better than these guys. We are three games into the season and Thiaw has already been labelled Bramble/Boumsong and Elanga an Adama Traore, and there's people ready to escalate and shit on them further all over social media for the players to have to hear about and see for themselves. Thankfully most of the time these sorts of clowns just end up looking stupid when the players start delivering, and then comes the back tracking and fake over the top fawning. As long as fans like this exist then players like this must exist also.

In the early days of the Wissa interest, Openda was mentioned as an alternative option that we'd look at if the Wissa deal didn't go through. I think we've tried everything to get at least one striker that has Prem experience, but it's very late in the day now, so wouldn't be surprised if we are now looking at options outside the Prem for the second striker we sign. Think there's also something in the Dovbyk talk as there was news a straight loan bid already went in for him last week.
