Pep doesn't know what to do with him. He excels driving forward with the ball through midfield in transition. Peps system is control, control, control and doesn't look to get the ball forward quickly. It was a strange signing by Man City, and a terrible waste. Pep sent Yaya Toure packing from Barca, and we saw what he did at Man City as a powerful and dynamic midfield runner.

Wasted under Pep. Man is playing him at right back, which is pretty outrageous. Especially as he doesn't even seem to be inverting. In the right side he'd be looking like Morgan Rogers does at Villa.

He was on the left of Rondon, and Ayoze was on the right. He was much more effective on the left too. Prior to joining us he mostly played on the left or number 10 at Atlanta.
