Absolutely shocking performance. Justly booed off.
-
FFS Utterly predictable

Absolute wank 1st half

About what I'd expected from the game. We clearly weren't trying too hard after the 2nd goal went in & they were always going to put up a better fight after the previous drubbing.
-
Pretty much the result I expected but the performance was decent.
-
Not sure what there is to say about that game. They were hopelessly outclassed and the only problem we had all game is that we didn't manage to score even more.

Since machine learning is just really good pattern matching it would be a good use case for refereeing. You'd probably need a camera for every player though which would make it expensive initially.
-
Great win against the worst refereeing I can remember since Championship days.

A gift for his birthday

Everyone forgets just how atrociously bad English referees are until we get games like this. VAR does a lot of covering for their fuckups.

Our players should have let him rant at the ref. He's already on a yellow & could have easily talked himself into a 2nd.

And yet, somehow, the offside tech used in Europe takes all of 3 seconds.
-
I generally don't have a problem with the offside rules. Offside is usually pretty binary, a player is either onside or they're not. Having said that, I don't believe that a player's eyebrows being offside 30 yards away from the goal gives them much of an advantage. I'd be in favour of a minor rule change to keep the current rules for measurements inside the box but measure the attacker's feet against any part of the defender when outside the box.

For all their terrible football last night, I didn't see the common problem passing that you generally see with teams heading in the wrong direction. No one was treating the football as if it was something dangerous that they needed to get rid of. No one was passing the ball away to make sure that they weren't the one who would make a mistake. No one looked frightened to play football. They were just terrible instead. I'm not sure a new manager could turn things around for them. The players looked bereft of ideas beyond diving.

Form is irrelevant in derby games. I would not be surprised if Spurs somehow managed to fluke a win against Arsenal.
-
Much better performance.
-
It was such a brilliant period. If we got a free kick anywhere within 30-40 yards of goal we had 3 set-piece takers who were massive threats. Robert on the left, Shearer central and Nobby on the right. Must have been terrifying for defenders.

Embarrassing stuff.
-
That was a very well taken goal.
-
Our play up top is just appalling. There's so few attempts to even try to get the ball to Woltemade.

Can someone take Ramsdale out behind the stadium and put him out of our misery?

One of my major peeves with football commentary is when the co-commentator is a former player and fan of one of the teams on the pitch. You're never going to get an unbiased commentary. Dixon is one of the worst offenders too. He never sees any faults in Arsenal players, they never commit fouls and there's always a reason why a decision shouldn't go against them.
