Wissa has been disastrous for us but Isak was always going to be a terrible signing for Liverpool. All of their play is set up to go through Salah. And Salah (justifiably) is a very selfish player who, given the option to pass to Isak or shoot, is always going to take the shot himself. Add in Liverpool losing TAA to Madrid and Isak has been left with few players around him willing to give him the ball in areas where he might be dangerous. Then, since he started so poorly, he isn't being passed to when he does get in the right positions. It'll be interesting to see if Liverpool try to build a team around him with Salah leaving or if they give up on him entirely in the summer.

This is what gets me with the man utd transfer rumours at the moment. They don't have a permanent manager yet. Players could be joining them just in time to end up with a manager they've dealt with before and utterly hate, a manager who doesn't want a player in their position, or just a clown like Bruce.

You can see it with the way that the defence acts when he's playing as well. They do not trust him. He's far too hesitant to come for a lot of balls but he's also not communicating to defenders that he's not coming leading to them hesitating in the worst possible areas. He's been a step down from Dubravka and if he's here next season I'll have serious doubts about our transfer policy.

If he does eventually come good it should also put pay to the idea of paying the PL experience premium. If it still takes a season to get up to speed even with experience from the league then we may as well buy from abroad and give them the same time to get adjusted.

Not really. A club not in Europe can spend more of their income but a club in Europe will have a significantly higher income. 70% of £200m is more than 85% of £100m.

He's the 2nd top scorer in the Champions League this season so far. Even if he frustrates us with his lack of goals and assists in the league there will be a number of clubs looking at his output in Europe with envy. I'd also add that his lack of assists could be put down to him having no fucker in the box to pass to in many of our games.

I'm sure it was reported last week that no players had those clauses.
