If you buy prudently I don’t see the issue. Two of our best signings in Jan were lower profile PL players. You already have evidence that they can perform in the league. Main issue with buying Everton or Man United players is the inflated costs due to their poor business practices but if you’ve done the due diligence on their character and think they are the right fit then I see no issues.

I think with FFP etc tighter than when Chelsea and City started out there is a lot of focus on avoiding costly mistakes and extracting maximum value.

It’s partially about trying to keep prices down, also trying to manage the squad dynamics. As has been said before there’s a budget for squad building but if the right player is available at the right price we’ll do the deal.

It’s speculation for the sake of speculation. The images or art are just a proxy for this. Some may well be made in good faith but the majority aren’t. As with anything like this, once the hype kicks in it’s a race to the bottom. Blockchain may well have it’s uses but it’s an energy drain on a world that can ill afford it. It’s not a ‘decentralised money revolution’ as with everything it just recentralises around those with the capital to exploit it.
