L'Equipe: Newcastle prepare bids for Hoarau & Roux if Maiga doesn't sign....
clintdempsey replied to a topic in Football
Aren't they two vastly different types? It's kind of worrying if we still don't know what kind of striker we want. Always thought of Hoarau as a targetman and Roux as more in the Gameiro ilk. -
She looks like your run-of-the-mill spanish 14-year-old with a "mature" make-up to me.

Complete brainfreeze when I registered. Good player who I've liked for a really long time and wanted us to sign. Nothing more sinister than that. Would probably change it now though. -

Why? Well despite everyone claiming he was fully fit nearly two months ago, he missed most of the pre-season action and isn't fit enough to be involved yet. Not ideal is it? Played 3, missed 3 hasn't he? -
The glorious pass that noone else could see that gave AC the chance to score the 3-1 goal against Liverpool is pretty much it. And that includes the CCC season as well.

Don't get too attached to any good player who emerges this season, as soon as we get a half decent offer for them they will be away. Thats what happens when you support a small time, selling club. Wigan Athletic with bigger crowds. And thats no offence to Wigan who are a better run club with an owner who cares about his club and comes across as a reasonable human being. I get attached to our good players, of course I do. I then piss and moan for a day or two when they leave (though the Carroll sale hurt much longer than that). Then I move on. It's probably just some kind of defence mechanism, or it's based on the fact that players actually changes teams once in a while. It's rare for players in any professional sport to stay at the same club for more than 4-5 years I would think.
-
I don't like him anymore. Same as with all former players. I support NUFC and the players that are here. And he's got disgusting nipples based on that medical video.

Nothing wrong with those comments. 1. Sad to see a good player leave. 2. Not a great day as a player we've tried to hold on to have decided to leave for a shitty albeit ambitious club. Erm, unconfirmed club business being discussed on twitter. Aye, nowt wrong with that. I can't see it on Twitter. Has he removed it?

Seems a little pedantic, mate If I'd said top-five, would that resolve your qualms? Being serious though, they're competing for a top four place. That's what I mean, at least. Agree about Liverpool being detestable. Would love for them to crash and burn this season. In my book they're competing for places 5-7 again. Not that impressed with their signings. Arsenal will have to slip up badly if Liverpool's going to be anywhere near fourth IMO.
-
The reason I'm pissed of about this is that as many of you are saying he's a top-four quality left back. But he will go to Liverpool. Fucking Liverpool. I could've stomached Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea or any European club. And before anyone gets started; Yes, Liverpool look more ambitious than us. But that's no reason to not absolutely fucking hate them.

Brotherly love. Sammy_Ameobi Samuel Ameobi Good to know he's still gonna be around for a few more years

Love how the picture on the link is Marcus Berg.

Only place I have seen them is in that article.. that paper may be the Dutch version of the sport Double Dutch more like! It's an Indonesian paper, isn't it?
-
I am so fkn happy he is though, this is one occasion where I hope his childishness wins Someone should tell him Dalglish has once pissed on a Sports Direct window and that Ian Ayre has hooked up with his ex-wife. That should do it!
-
Never seen him play. How is he? Is he quick? Because we need some speed in attack.. Toivonen is a good player. 6'3" tall and with good technique. He isn't a speed merchant but isn't slow either. He's really good at holding up the ball and playing in other players. But he's still a pretty good goalscorer as well. Would fit us really well IMO. And as a bonus he's from my part of Sweden as well. And for that alone I'd want him at Newcastle.

BPLTransferNews TransferNews Reports suggest #NUFC want Erik Pieters to replace Enrique if he leaves Don't know his track record with transfers, but Pieters, from what I've seen of him would be a good replacement.

So what bills has Tiote refused to pay then?
