Don't think Rangers are stupid enough to give him a contract.

Why would anyone want Maynard? It would clearly mean the end of striker spending, on a player with no top level experience.
-
How about turning Simpson inside out and scoring in the spring of 2010?

Are you Joe Kinnear, seriously?

Why would anyone need one of the best defensive midfielders in the league. We would, that's for sure. A team that plays football like Man U, clearly not. They could do with someone to break up play when their getting dry humped by Barca in midfield, not saying it's Tiote but it's daft to say they have no need of a defensive midfielder. They'd simply have one if Ferguson wanted that (type of ) player. Tiote's great, but I don't think he's well-rounded enough for Ferguson to spend big money on him.

Well considering you've changed your originally statement, it is a little easier to understand. As I pointed out there's a difference between the statements. You're wrong as to whether he would be the type of player they need. He would be a big help in games when they come up against teams who can go toe to toe with them. They obviously wouldn't need him against the likes of West Brom. I changed nothing. As I said, he's not a Man U player. If you have trouble interpreting that as 'he's not a Man U type of player,' you need help, frankly. Either that or you just fancied wasting some time.

He isn't the type of player than Man U need or have traditionally deployed. Simple enough?

He's not a Man U player.

Another classic. Keep 'em coming, ignoramus.

No way we'll get 2 strikers. It'll be one striker and a LB.

I said that after the game. Got the distinct impression he was saying goodbye, just in case.

Or Best in front of Ben Arfa. :fwap:

City were very, very unlucky not to finish above Chelsea last season. Came down to a few goals. Keep that in mind, folks.

Will this Ameobi garbage ever cease? Seriously

Clearly you need cohesion or individual brilliance to win football matches. We have neither.

Based on what? On what I know about both teams, obviously. I just can't see us scoring, man. They're hardly very good. Never said they were. Don't think they'll need to be to stop us scoring. Howay man, you're being over the top negative now Not really. I'm usually pretty positive when predicting, but on Saturday I saw a side missing cohesion and key components. I'll revise it if we get a striker and a LB in before the weekend.

Think Mancini will cost them ultimately. Some impressive performances will come but I think they'll drop too many points against teams they should be beating if they're to win it. Man Utd for me. Mancini knows what he's doing - in spite of the pitiful City performances against you lot in the last couple of seasons. I didn't say he was clueless, however he won't make the bold decisions when necessary this season IMO, whereas Ferguson will. He won't need to, man. They'll grind out draws or narrow wins against the big lot, and beat what's left with comfort. Their season.

They got as close as City did. City will have a better team, Chelsea a lesser one.
