You'd think there'd be a few Championship teams interested in Lovenkrands and Shola.
-
Jonas has the best engine in the squad, by far. It's his only outstanding attribute.
-
There's about 7 players we need to ship out before Wayne Routledge.
-
Who's going to buy him, seriously? Nobody from the top 5.
-
He's easily good enough for the bench, man. We need a squad.
-
Good results, a draw in the Brum derby will round things off nicely. Not that either really have a hope of finishing above us.
-
No doubt about that. That'd be 4 wins from 6 tough league games.
-
It was during our promotion season in early '93. Game was televised, I think. And yes, completely pissing down.
-
Who's mising for your lot, mate?
-
And Bellamy/Beardsley are far bigger legends than Owen.

People are idiot when they are argue about it...... I am not a fan of Smith but I don't think we can have any other choice.... he is our second defensive midfielder and that won't change until we sell him and get another person. It was stupid decision to play Tiote last week but thats that. We can't play Gosling as he was very tired against Hibs in 70 minutes. The energy of Sunday game will make him tired in 30 minuets. I don't fancy Rout and Loven as well as they are light wighted. i hope Smith will perform his best performance and that would be an adequate thing for us. This club needs 2 more of Tiotes until we become a good away side. People are idiots for not wanting Smith to play when there are options? You really should be locked up before you become Robin Williams in One Hour Photo.

If we need a goal, stick him up front. Two good feet and terrific in the air, bound to score eventually.
-
Whilst we need new signings, the club's in a pretty strong position financially and I wouldn't want to start compromising that for the likes of Seb Larsson, who doesn't seem to want to be here anyway. Obviously the club is prepared to pay very good wages to very good players.
-
I'll take comfort from the fact that you don't seem to know either.
-
Still not sure when he looked 'excellent,' like.
-
I wouldn't be totally against this, providing the fee and wages are relatively low. I'd certainly say he's better than Ranger, Shola and Lovenkrands from what i've seen. As for Best, the jury is very much out.

We need to get rid of so much rubbish, man.
-
12 goals and played a part in christ knows how many others.
-
That would be the season in which he got 12 goals and played a part in christ knows how many others. And was booed off during the final home game.

In the sense that the fan's get on Jonas' back like they did with Robert. Two frustrating players. Does something poor in the game and you can hear the abusive shout outs and groans go right through the ground. The two of them combined would be one of the best LW's in the world. Robert was one of the best LWs in the world. Would agree on this, though I got laughed at by quite a few friends when I said it. Imagine if we had a LW now that would score 8-10 goals a season and around 20 assists with Carroll upfront. Ask them to name 10 better ones during his peak. You'll get silence. Pires, Giggs, Ronaldinho, Nedved at least. Feel like im missing someone. I agree somewhat, and I'll rephrase: The two of them combined would arguably be the best lw in the world. Rivaldo - if you can count him as a LW (which he did play - just not all that frequently). Overmars at a push (although in decline). Kily Gonzalez (was probably as good for as short a period of time). Luis Figo (sometimes played on the left I believe). Overmars and Gonzalez better were not better than robert in those 2 seasons. The original comment was that Robert was one of the best LWs in the world. You can't be one of the best LWs in the world if you are exceptional for only 2 seasons. That is not nearly a long enough period to be regarded as one of the best LWs in the world. How stupid are you? In those 2/3 seasons he was one of the best LWs in the world. I'll ignore your mindless name calling as I suspect most people should. My point is that you can't look at a player's two season period and say he was one of the best LWs in the world. That's bit like saying that Kevin Phillips was one of the best strikers in the world at one point because he had a few good seasons. Looking at a small isolated period is utterly pointless. He wasn't, though. Robert was.
