It's a miracle. Well done to all involved, another good window.
  2. Utter tripe, he put in several good crosses today, as he did against Villa.
  3. Harper 6 Perch 5 Williamson 6 Coloccini 8 Enrique 7 Routledge 8 Smith 5 Barton 7 Jonas 6 Nolan 6 Carroll 8
  4. Played very well today. He'd be the last player from the current midfield 4 that i'd consider dropping.
  5. Yes. When he looked like one. I was completely wrong about his potential, though. Hands well and truly up.
  6. Never seen such a drastic improvement in the space of 8 or 9 months, it's absolutely incredible. He's clearly the best thing to come out of our academy since Paul Gascoigne.
  7. Typical sensationalist media spin here. Anyway: defies belief. Add that to what Taylor said about Shearer being the only manager who had every given him any 1-to-1 training in 5 years and you begin to wonder just what some managers actually did in training. Believe nowt from Steven Taylor, man. He's licked everyone's arse from Souness to Shearer.
  8. WHERE'S XISCO? :banghead:

How many times are folk gonna post the same thing? He sniffs glue, ignore him.
  10. Shola was brilliant against Accrington Stanley, he should walk through this game.
  11. What are you? A Narrator on an 80's Cartoon where something sinister has happened to the protagonist? Brilliant.
  12. Yep, always figured Keegan's reason for playing N'zogbia was Jose's lack of ability past the halfway line.

    The above, minus Krul.
  14. Don't take any notice. A few on here turned their noses up at Malouda 2 years back.
  15. It should surely mark the end for Lovenkrands and/or Shola.
  16. When he starts actually losing us games, it'll be time. Thing is with Krul, he should have been on loan for the last 4 seasons.
  17. Harper's been consistent. He's somewhat safe and his experience shows, to some extent. Sadly, his agility is all but gone, and there'll be a fair few goals like the first and third against Man U, which will have a few on here yearning for Krul.
  18. Aye, course there is. He was never physical, his game is about being clever, on and off the ball. He's laced with technique and very efficient from deep or in the box. Replacing Lovenkrands with Keane would be comparable to replacing 'playmaker' Nicky Butt with Hatem Ben Arfa. Laughable.

It's more to do with the fact that we have seen Alan Smith play.

2001-02 was the best; we simply bought much, much better players than we already had in two key areas.
