Not really, my opinion of him hasn't changed, there's nowt for me to say in this thread.
-
What, in the last 10 days? What is there to say? Should have done better with the second goal. Don't project your fanboy tendencies onto me man.
-
In terms of a goalscoring threat he has been tbh. Good to see Lovenkrands seemingly taking his chance though.
-
Which daft idiot on here has edited his wiki page to suggest that he's now got 3 in 3 games?
-
Pancrate needs to start now? This forum man.
-
If we're going to play stupid long passes, it's always going to be Carroll's type of game. We need to stop bothering with that tactic and keep the ball on the floor, when tend to destroy teams when we do this.
-
Best player tonight, but still frustrating.
-
Harper 7 Simpson 4.5 Taylor 6 Coloccini 6 Enrique 6 Guthrie 7 Smith 6 Nolan 4 Jonas 7 Shola 4 Lovenkrands 7

Absolutely terrible tonight.

It's about time rubbish like this was eradicated from the forum. Looks like I was wrong once again, eh Macca?
-
Except Butt. Don't be too sure. I am, no other championship club would go near the useless wanker.
-
Fucking hell, that's our strongest team from those available.

Carroll scoring twice, aye that'll happen.
-
Got £17 on us winning, £2 on 0-0, £1 on Coloccini (fs) and 2-0 and £2 on Nolan (fs) and 3-0.
-
Harper R Taylor S Taylor Coloccini Enrique Guthrie Smith Nolan Jonas Shola Ranger Simpson's head wont be right at this moment in time, Taylor is an adequate right back and him and Guthrie should be able to put it on Shola's head a fair few times. I'd start Ranger personally, given that I don't think Carroll is giving us enough.
-
Would have been nice to have seen him play one last time like Pav but probably for the best.
-
When Kegan arrived he did an interview saying that Keegan had probably saved his career, given that Allardyce also thought he was terrible.
-
I'd love to see Dos Santos here, but lets face it, with our tactics he'd be no use whatsoever in most games.
-
He's been in the team whenever fit and when we play the ball on the deck it usually goes through him, so he should be getting assists.
-
Lack of knowledge? Come on mate, you've admitted that you haven't seen many of our games this season. And how much of Nobby have you seen recently? I'm finding it increasing difficult to believe that you haven't just woke up from a coma you entered in 2003.

I see where you're all coming from lads, I love the bloke too. You're all going to be dissapointed if you're expecting a substancial contribution from him though. I just hope we don't see what i'm expecting, a complete shell of one our best players of the last 15 years.

It's not a question of maintaining anything, you speak like he left the premier league last week.

IMO he's retained the same amount of fitness and ability as Beckham, who still applies his trade at one of the biggest clubs in the world. Let me guess "that's different"? Why did West Ham let him go for basically nowt then, as we did, and Villa before that and us before that? In fairness, when we let him go in the past, it was down to a fall out with Sir Bobby the first time (over the playing for Peru thing), and the 2nd time, he wanted to move south for 'Family Reasons'. Niether case seemed to be due to his ability at the time(s). Can't comment on the reasons for being aloowed to leave West Ham, or his last 2 clubs (in Greece and Peru respectively). Basically the same points i've just made. Although, they will be ignored. f***ing hell. None of that explains why the clubs have let him go for peanuts, does it?
