You'd think the 4-5-1 would protect the defence but it doesn't, it just means we tend to lose the ball an awful lot in the final third and end up with more defending to do

So he should for what we are paying him. Genuine question Ronaldo, what is it with Colocinni that makes you rate him so highly? I agree yesterday thought he was the better of the two central defenders, just you defend him to the hilt, even last year when he was absolute rubbish for a lot of the time. I don't particularly rate him as highly as you might think, but I think he's a lot better than the general opinion. I just see him as a good defender who'll do an excellent job in this league and hopefully learn from last season.

He got 29 last year, he's also got more assists over both of the last 2 seasons than Drogba. They're both awesome players, but I still think Ibra has more technical ability that Drogba. However it has to be said Drogba does turn up in the 'big games' more than Ibra. Already acknowledged that Drogba missed lots of games in the last 2 seasons

You need to turn back around, watch the game, and see how poor he's been in over 80% of his games here then. He was poor last season, not disputing it
