  1. What a fantastic goal. Football at its best, that.

    John Carver

That was Olivier Bernard wasn't it?
  3. More of what, him letting someone else make statements for him? Same as Pardew's post-window statement a couple of years back.
  4. pretty much. and a top class centre forward. and fit defenders. Oh, aye. Our first choice defenders haven't conceded the most goals in the league apart from QPR or owt.
  5. Is this the closest you've ever come to criticising him?

    John Carver

You're talking about John Carver and NUFC, Kaka. Not 'this country'.

    Which myth about British managers?
  8. Put £40 on at 11/2. Least I'll get somat out of it.
  9. West Brom are safe. To be honest we could barely have asked for 3 better games to end the season with.

  11. Best GIF ever. Mike, you're such a fucking star.
  12. Which is why I don't think stripping him of the captaincy is going to improve his attitude. Right now the manager's job should be to pump these players with belief and pride in the shirt, not play to the fans or the media. It's better to be a cunt like Mourinho who can get his players to fight to the death than be popular Johnny who is loved by the local fans and Lee Ryder for being "honest" about his players lack of heart. Right, but it'll never happen. More chance of Riviere scoring a double hattrick.
  13. We're out to 11/2 again if anyone fancies placing a bet. Ludicrous odds tbh.
  14. Imagine relying on his likely partner as we did in 2009.
  15. ? Confused. I have amended it.
  16. Burnley will lose to Hull at the weekend. 37 points and Job done.

    Steve McClaren

If we can't even attract the likes of Steve McClaren the best we can hope for is relegation, unfortunately. Anything that might break this cycle has got to be a positive.
  18. Unfortunately he has to play. I'd rather he played with a far different attitude, though.
  19. His recent performances suggest the last thing we should do is leave things as they are.
  20. Owen was a cowardly ineffective shit but Coloccini's on a different level, man. He's been at fault for more goals this season than Mike Hooper and Pavel Srnicek combined. Most of which seem to be down to shit judgement or shit effort. Inexcusable. As a bonus we have the ones down to shit athleticism. They're great fun to watch.
  21. With Colback it helps that he has something like 4 goals and 5+ assists, mind. With those numbers compounded with the fact he's a fairly tidy and consistent player it's easy for people to perceive effective performances. God knows the rest of the midfielders/wingers don't come near that contribution.
