It will be, if you're a tad thick. All people are saying is that his age can't be used as some sort of excuse for him. Lack of experience, of course, but Sammy has turned down several opportunities to go out on loan in favour of sitting on the bench or in a warm seat in the stands. Of course a player's age AND experience can be used as an excuse. Players develop at different rates - you only have to look at someone like Harry Kane for extremely recent evidence of that. He's older than Sammy and, prior to this season, had shown no signs of developing into a very good PL striker. Sammy may never get any better than he currently is, but I think it's worth giving him a couple of years more to see how he develops. If he doesn't get any better, then move him on. Well that's shit, for a start. Also factor in that Kane's role is one young players seldom seem to thrive in. Sammy's a winger. If he was ever going to be a very good one he'd have shown far more than he has in the opportunities he's been given.

Probably told to say that.
-
Indeed. Nearly 3 years older than Raheem Sterling, too.

Who took the time to write an article about Jonas Gutierrez's travel arrangements on a Monday morning for Christ's sake?
-
I think he's very good. I don't like him, though.

For that reason, they were my favourite club to use back in the halycon days of landing in US for the first time and playing FIFA 06 every second of the day. Loved Fifa 06. Mainly because Ronaldo was the best player on it with a 95 rating or somat daft despite being clearly past his best.

Fuck Atletico and that cheating Argentine bastard.
-
As if assists are relevant anyway when you put the ball in the back of the net every 75 minutes.
-
He's had years to demonstrate aptitude for this level and hasn't.

I sort of agree, we've brought in (since time begun) some duds. But, and it's a canny but, under this present regime I'd be interested to see where on Carr's list our actual in comings lie. If the two you mention were his no. 1 choices then I'd be more than a bit worried but if I had to guess I'd say that he brings his list of potential players into the club and they go for them more on price than suitability. even the best of the best managers / scouts have shitstains on their record like, no-one is ever close to 100% especially with younger players Yeah but Perez aside his unknowns have been crap.
-
Same Carr who brought in the likes of Riviere and Amalfitano. Just saying, he's generally good at his role but in terms of spotting relative unknowns his record isn't good.
-
And in my opinion, the best.

Just in time for the new manager to come in and earn brownie points by beating us.

Arsenal are North London. Stupid post, regardless.

What a heap of shite. Anyone assuming they can't make it as a coach in this country because of their skin colour has no business coaching anyway, given the lack of intelligent and self-esteem that conclusion requires.

Take a lot more than you and your gang of bandits to do that, York.

He's not even a bad bloke, he's just blunt and honest which verges on tactlessness at times. I'd have him at NUFC in a second, though that's hardly much of an endorsement.
-
I don't want to jump on the Stifler the stupid cunt bandwagon, but god almighty, of all the brainless shit I've seen on here. Just atrocious.
-
He was never 'in form' as a Liverpool player. Which is pretty obviously when payment was missed. People on here can be fucking dense at times, like.
-
That is toe-curlingly stupid. So stupid is Keegan's footballing philosophy that we won promotion under him at the first attempt, qualified for Europe at the first attempt and then were one win against Man U away from taking the league title for the first time in 70 years. Not even the Man U away game, the Man U home game we battered them, particularly the first half. We'd have went into the last match of the season on 80 points, with Man Utd on 76 if that had finished say, 2-1. Yeah, I mean 'away' from the winning the league. They deservedly battered us at OT.

Football and tactics are awful yet he likes the most detestable manager in football. Must be Ian W.
-
I bet they had a right laugh at that. £35m for an injured striker out of form and they were charged interest on top.

Die in a fire you repugnant bastard.
