  1. We need anything but a win. And if he's 'here to stay' it's chiefly because of defeatists like you.
  2. Would just be nice to think Newcastle United and its fans meant more to him than reducing potential future awkwardness with Alan fucking Pardew.
  3. He blames the players and Ashley every time he's asked. He's defending Pardew as much as anyone in the media.
  4. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/alan-shearer-says-newcastle-united-7927387 Well this is just utterly embarrassing, man. The man is as thick and cowardly off the pitch as he was clever and brave on it.
  5. When did Shearer 'stand by' Roeder? We finished 7th under him when Shearer was there.
  6. That tweet strongly suggests to me he's no longer with a club in London. Anyway, it's not Warnock. He's not vile enough for that.

    Yohan Cabaye

Cabaye, in spite of the fact he takes penalties and set pieces, won't finish his career with nearly as many goals as Speed, like. It wasn't his job title, but he won the ball loads for us. With his fast feet he'd nick the ball away from players with ease.
  8. True, but he's currently at a London club.
  9. Yep. More likely to be Pardew, though.
  10. Fairly easy to confuse Norwich for Celtic, I guess.

    Yohan Cabaye

All of our midfielders, most of the full backs and all but one of our strikers.
  12. Wasn't he at Norwich who's currently topping the table? ... And he's has gone to Bolton who's is bottom of the table? It's all about the money, isn't it? Eh?
  13. For now I'll take qualifying for at least 4 out of 5 international tournaments.
  14. Ano, we should hire a brass band instead and have a crowd of people who don't have a clue what atmosphere at an international match even is. Is it tough, being shit?
  15. Shearer has had ample opportunities to criticise Pardew and he never does. Always the players this or Mike Ashley that.
  16. For the same reason that Keegan won't. They've both dealt with Ashley first hand, so they would know it's an impossible job. Still, reading those quotes, that definitely refers to Pardew being poor, even if he doesn't mention him by name. I think the absence of a reference to Ashley here is more telling than the absence of Pardew being named directly. It's not an impossible job, though. He's expected to finish 17th and above every year.
  17. Doesn't look like he's assigning any blame to Pardew. For some reason he won't.
  18. Funny he blames Ashley and the players for all of this.
  19. The national anthem ruins everything. What a load of shit.
  20. Still our best bet for a goal.
  21. Still our best bet for a goal.
  22. I feel a tad uncomfortable agreeing with Cronky but I do think that the attitude towards England on here is needlessly negative at times.
  23. A new manager with an ounce of sense would try to bring him back.
  24. You don't think there's a lack of effort there?
