Stamina, fitness and endurance. God Almighty.
-
I'm not the quickest, fastest or strongest player at 7 aside but I run rings around some of those I play with in terms of stamina, fitness and endurance. Anita is a good all-round athlete. Read the context though Ron. Anita's significantly slower and weaker than Sissoko, man. Anita may be many things a natural athlete isn't at the forefront of them. I mean, honestly. I fucking despair with this place at times.

Did I seriously just read that Vurnon Anita's as good an athlete as Moussa Sissoko?
-
Yeah, they just reached the World Cup final, mate.

First time I've seen carte blanche hyphenated, like. Original.

He goes through periods of inconsistency with his goalscoring. That's as inconsistent as he gets.
-
He's been a great player for over 11 years and is only 29, it's hardly a criticism.
-
This is exactly it. And people like KI are bright enough to know it, too.
-
Well put. And this.
-
How come? Because he will. Suarez's biggest club honour is a league cup. Long may that continue. You do realise he how plays for Barca right? Who?

I would start him, definitely, but Ian's description is way over the top. Either way, he's not nearly as good as being made out.
-
You make it sound like he's Xavi. He's behind Leroy Fer in the Dutch squad.
-
I've no idea what that's a reference to. Presumably you're still wounded that I was right about Tiote and Coloccini.
-
One thing's for sure, Aguero will have the better career of the two by far.
-
City look so much better with Lampard in there.
-
He was shit, man. Him and Gerrard were bloody awful.
-
I hope when I'm nearly 40 I'm giggling at singular words on the internet.
-
Somehow I doubt you actually laughed at that.
-
8 goals in 20 in a horrible league isn't excellent. Either way I think even Pardew's figured out that Gouffran should be nowhere near.
-
That you wrote him off and it's easier to find trivial criticism than hold your hands up.

He hits it long when he isn't, he hits it long a lot, that's a major issue. He's done well so far defensively in what? 6 games? That doesn't make him excellent nor does it call for that hyped up sentence from TCD. My original point was about someone comparing him with Puyol ffs, a mainstay in arguably the best passing team of all time. 12 games, not 6. In fact, he's played about 30 games for us as a defender and never really looked like a poor one since breaking through. I think the hoofing nonsense comes from those who wrongly wrote him off wanting to save face a bit. I disagree and I can argue a point without you referring to me in the collective third person and creating a reason for my opinion other than that I've watched him, don't rate him and think that he hoofs it a lot. I'd be the first to say if I was wrong about a player, I've done it a few times. I don't see anything in Dummett to suggest that it's anything more than good form, in a team in good form, he's still a basic player that offers little other than being average at defending. What stops him from being good at defending then? It's just bitter guff, all the time.

Bit of a weird opinion, like, KI. Man U and Chelsea dominated the PL for 7 season while semi-frequently 'hoofing' it. It's hardly a major issue that one defender defends consistently well and hits it long under pressure.
