  1. Why? You were claiming that he isn't a shit player just because he hasn't played in England, so I guess we can judge for ourselves now Eh? Samaras has played in England.
  2. Don't disagree with much you say but I don't see this. I'd sooner Colback left-back and play Anita, Sissoko & De Jong as a three. No he isn't. I don't want him in the team, but he's demonstrated he can be adequate at defending.
  3. I'd rather he was as far from NUFC as possible. No good comes of Jonas Gutierrez.
  4. Actually just my interpretation of his words.
  5. We failed to remotely trouble their keeper. Under no circumstances does that merit a point when you've conceded 2 goals.
  6. A revolution wasn't mentioned. Just developing a consistent footballing philosophy.
  7. Loves ruling himself out of jobs he has no right to be in for, it'll be even funnier when he can't get one. The fucking spiv. If you go back a few pages his reasons were discussed. Perfectly legitimate. And why hasn't he got the right to be in for jobs at Palace and West Brom? Experienced coach, gave a good account of himself in the 6 months he was a PL manager. If it's take a gamble on someone who'll at least play positive football and might just turn out to be a top coach or play it safe with some has-been or Championship crook I know what I'd prefer.
  8. Dummett's going to have to step up. He is capable of being a solid defender at least.
  9. Translation: he knows we're signing nobody else.
  10. I've said this a million times but he needs to be locked up, and now.
  11. It doesn't. He's taking the pro course so he'd be able to do the job.
  12. I'd be happy to see him go if whatever we got for him was reinvested in the team, which is unlikely to be the case. You'll never get anywhere with midfielders total unable to contribute to the attacking aspect of the game.
  13. On the other hand I doubt they'd hire belligerent Italians who can't speak the lingo.
  14. Yeah he said he hoped he would be a lot calmer in his next job and maybe think more before dong things. He also put Shearer in his all-time XI players that he's played with and told a decent story about how Shearer wasn't the best trainer and if he wasn't interested he wouldn't take part, he said Shearer wasn't the quickest but put a ball 20 yards away from him and any player and nobody was beating Shearer to the ball. He seems like a decent bloke who's a bit excitable. Aye, I really enjoyed hearing Sherwood. Made an interesting point about the best defenders not caring about being exposed, they embrace the one-on-one and are able to hold their own. Mentioned Ledley King and Colin Hendry.
  15. Until you look at the alternatives, that is. Then he most certainly is a starter.
  16. Course he has. A decent manager would have him on the bench most of the time as he was in that Dutch pub league.
  17. KaKa, man. Just stop it. You want to find a racist European football league, there's plenty out there. Ours doesn't even deserve mentioning in that respect.
  18. There's no place in football for players who merely 'win it and give it'. Especially not in teams with a modicum of ambition.
  19. Excels in them so much we always get utterly dicked.
  20. He'd be 6th choice at best in that pool of midfielders.

You've never been to QPR, have you.
  22. There's no doubt he'll play for England at some point.

To be a great striker, yes; to be an efficient one, no.
