Cabaye a DM? No, no, no, no, no.

Hartlepool.
-
Just like that, yeah.
-
People forget just how good he was from 2004-2010ish. Great player.
-
I can never decide whether Billy's love of Gerrard contributes to his dislike of Lampard or vice versa.
-
Lampard scored a perfectly legitimate peach in the World Cup against Germany to be fair. Scored in CL final, CL semi finals and a great goal to win the FA cup final too. Both scored crucial goals when it mattered.
-
I must admit some pals of mine ran into him at Elland Road when his son played there and gave him a bit of grief which he took in very good humour.
-
You certainly would. Everton away in 2006, left foot chip against Hull, that goal against Barca in the CL. Incredible strikes.
-
I think if you had to acquire one of them aged 25 with a view to having them in your side for 10 years, Lampard's easily the sensible pick. He'd guarantee you 200 goals, well over 100 assists, never get injured and generally be a committed leader and class act on and off the field. You can't really contend with that.

Yep - I would say that Nolan was a fair bit more overweight than HBA. I'd also say that Nolan's weight issues were often discussed and criticised on here.

I'm trying to be nice this week but that post is a hideous car crash.

Relatively prosperous? That's an understatement, like.

Bridges was probably assured by his agent there'd be a better offer that never materialised.
-
If I had to sign one of them for 10 years of their peak it'd be Lampard. Scholes was the greatest of the 3 on his best day, though.
-
I just think it's the development of established talent that's all wrong. I've talked about implementing a B team system before. And yes, money contributes to the issues. As someone said not so long back. Sammy Ameobi, 22, achieved nowt in the game so far, looked out of his depth in the PL and CL, yet he posts pictures of himself driving a Range Rover and mincing about with large wads of cash. Where's the incentive for him to really knuckle down and struggle to get better? Of course, there are some players with massive talent and massive drive, but they're rare in most developed countries.
-
Stopped you there. Indeed but just plain old average to good for England. Bobby Moore was a great player for England, KK, Lineker and even David Beckham. But not Gerrard. I've always thought Lampard has been a better player for the national side. Yeah. I think Lampard's slightly more static playing style has always been a bit better suited to international football.
-
I 100% believe he came back carrying too much weight around the middle for someone with a small frame and the pictures he posted substantiate that. Not saying it's any sort of excuse for his treatment but it's indicative of his 'couldn't really give a fuck' attitude off the field.
-
More the middle of the season. I just think Sammy's not really improved one bit since his debut well over 3 years back. A lot of the blame for that has to be pointed elsewhere, mind.

ie Barkley in 2 years.

Lallana, Barkley.....

Rooney new captain. Right choice.
-
Gerrard announces his retirement. Fair play. Right time.

It's the bringing his own water that got me. Put a few bottles from the fridge in your training bag you stupid prick. I do it every single day and I'm a far better athlete than Michael fucking Chopra.
