Tooj, when did you become so crap? Nobody has advocated any sort of discrimination based on place of birth. TT actually made the opposing argument, if anything.

Dummetts abut 6 years older though isn't he? Fans have still written off Campbell at 18 when he was here, so what difference does it really make? Some players can be late developers depending on how much football they play at a young level. The grief Dummett gets boarders on the ridiculous on here. This place hates anything that isn't foreign sounding. Probably to do with most living outside the north east. If it's English it's shit, if it's a double being English and from the north east then it's fucking god awful shit. Usually the false 9 brigade. Brilliant Not too far from the truth, either. Though I find a lot of that brigade on here are from NE.

Southampton vs. Newcastle United, Saturday 29/03/14 @ 3pm (Not on TV)

7/10 for Southampton to win. Might just stick a grand on it. -
Gouffran's looked like a grafter with zero end product since we signed him and I said it at the time. He's a decent striker, who's isn't really good enough in that role to start for us.
-
You would never get Ferguson saying "Cabaye has gone so we are going to change our style a little bit". You possibly would if the remaining midfielders couldn't create fuck all between them. Creative midfielders like Marveaux and Ben Arfa are a luxury when you need solid wingers like Gouffran and two defensive midfielders like Tiote and Anita, as I'm sure Pards would explain to you. Ben Arfa's a winger. Anita, Sissoko and Tiote can't come close to giving a team what Cabaye can.

When Hatem was scoring and making goals he was in the side. I'm not justifying his exclusion one bit, but to say Pardew would've ignored a goal and assist machine like Robert because he didn't do much defending is stretching things.
-
Robert might not have tracked back much but he obviously worked hard.
-
It's ridiculous, like. Especially when everyone knows how shit Elliott is.

Robert guaranteed goals and assists. Pardew would have to start him. As did Tevez and as does HBA when he's played. There's no way Pardew would play Ginola or Robert. Neither Dalglish nor Souness did and they're of the same ilk as Pardew. On a related note, Souness is a decent pundit and often makes the point about how he was wrong about Robben, who he'd written off as lazy. I don't get why he's never transferred that admission into his job when he's been a manager. Ben Arfa's a very good footballer and should start every game but he's never had a strong track record of getting goals and assists. Laurent Robert he isn't.
-
Thinking of someone else there, like. Ginola's overrated on here.
-
Nobody would dispute that. Not even Pardew would be stupid enough to bench someone like Robert in our squad, man.
-
What's that got to do with owt?
-
Bale, Alonso and Marcelo absolutely awful beyond belief in that game.
-
They were much closer 5 years ago. They've basically got nowt to lose now. They're gonna finish top 4 but very unlikely to win the league.
-
Robert guaranteed goals and assists. Pardew would have to start him. HBA doesn't? You realise all those games in which he was thrown on last minute to "gizzabitomagic" he hit the post and set up chances for our goalshy forwards aplenty, right? Yet he was not started again. Not to anywhere near the same level.

Can't believe how negative Liverpool were there.
-
This is the 'correct' way to play football is it? Go 2-0 up and start passing backwards and hoofing it out of play.
-
Liverpool totally deserve that.

Gorgeous.

I'm liking Gee a lot more these days.
