It's probably also the only reason he's still in a job now, judging by our mini surge after the influx in January. Without it we'd be gone now, for sure. You'd hope he'd be sacked under those circumstances, like.

A winger that can run and whip a ball in sounds like a bloody good foundation for a player to me, like. Needs to strengthen up a bit and work on his decision making but that's true of 9 out of 10 players his age. Of all the young ones he's the one who looks most likely to make it in the PL, for me.
-
The recruitment policy, as much as I don't like it, is the only reason he got the job here.

Never said they're all amazing. I've learnt in the last year or so to try and not post when it comes to Brazilian because last time I got s*** and ended up being right about Ramires. And it's not only me who thinks your opinion is ridiculous. I'm happy to let the future speak for itself. As if said, I'd rather sign Bale now than the Kaka of 2009, anyday, and I watched loads of Milan when Kaka played there and know exactly how awesome he was. The thing is Ronaldo, if you had posted that many would probably agree. I'm probably one of them, but that wasn't your original point, well at least you didn't make it that clear. Sorry I didn't make it clearer.

Well joeyt figured it out.

Kaka was physically past his prime when Madrid got him, though. Madrid we're never gonna utlitise him the same way Milan did and that was always going to marginalise him. Bale's a different player. Anyway, I've learnt to stay away from you when it comes to Brazilians. They're all amazing, we know.

All I've said is that is the set pieces are the fault of both players and Pardew. The fact there's actually been a prolonged debate about that tells you everything you need to know. None of us are happy, man, but come on.

That's not fair to Ronaldo, that is a true statement, but his statement is absolutely ridiculous. He's comparing a guy who's had very good spells to a guy who was the worlds absolute best for two years. Actually he isn't even comparing, he's suggesting Bale is better. Not really, I'd rather sign the Bale of now than the Kaka of 2009-present. He's flopped at Madrid because you need to organise your side around him. The same isn't true of Bale. He'll look absolute quality whatever you tell him to do because he's physically unstoppable. Kaka was going downhill physically just before he went to RM. He wasn't the same player anymore. ABSOLUTELY class before that. Completely agree, and that was my point. He was on the way down, Bale's on the way up.

Only waiting for Ronaldo to walk in and say it's better than what we have... To be fair, Carlton Cole would be our 2nd best striker.

There you go again. I've said time and time again that the tactics, delivery, and lack of willing and able attackers of the ball are to blame for that stat. To spell it out for you, I think the management and the players are both utterly shit in this area. Honestly, man. Thick as mince.
-
True story. Full circle and beyond.
-
Given that our last game is Arsenal we absolutely have to go for it against QPR. Probably a blessing.
-
 Ruel Fox's entire family, more like.
-
I think 2 draws keeps us up.
-
Not really when we see it every single game. If you've got anything at all to defend what you said about the poor set pieces having nothing to do with personnel, let's hear it. Try to make it concise because enough of these threads in trouble because of petty rubbish.
-
I didn't say that at all, tbh.
-
Yep, based on what you've said.
-
This ref, man. Everton have been robbed.
-
Ferguson's looked a good player to me just about every time he's been on the pitch bar a couple of edgy games out of position.
-
West Brom want burning to the ground if they lose against Norwich too. Useless cunts.
-
It's madness in this thread. Madness is claiming the players have no culpability, like you do in every thread. Honestly. I haven't once done that. But you bury your head in the sand and throw wild assertions around if you like brother Eh? For example, you claimed the 'personnel' had absolutely nothing to do with the deficiencies in our set pieces. Do you think Pardew, as useless as he is, is telling Cabaye to hit the first man and the players in the box to close their eyes, jump 3 inches off the ground and wince?

In the last decade it's Lampard, no argument. Overall, Scholes has to get the nod. What a player.
