The Ian W bandwagon is empty, mate. None of us were happy with that abysmal window, or the one before that......

We did play a top team today, we played a team that were on 1 point less than us and one place below us before kick-off. Before kick-off we were 4th and they were 5th and that's on form so far this season. Where they are or aren't by January is irrelevant to how they've played so far this season. If you think Chelsea have looked like a top team recently you simply haven't been watching the matches. Arsenal put 5 past them; defensive Livepool put 4 past them at Stamford Bridge in 2 games; QPR beat them; Man U demolished them; in europe they've been absolutely all over the place. They aren't a top team anymore. But they still have some top players capable of bumming our bad ones. They are very capable of beating any of the top sides barring City as well. Poor form doesn't make them finished by any means. Stop acting as if they are on a par with Villa, they are still clearly a class above. They're the 6th best team in the league in my view. Sad state if we can't aim to get a result against such a team at home.

Not so confident then? I wouldn't offer to drink piss if the sky turned orange. Find me some odds and we'll talk.

His injury record has been appalling since he gained a bit of bulk. It'll probably get worse as he gets older sadly.
-
Average? His passing makes Alan Smith look average.
-
Guthrie played well. Undroppable after his last 4 performances.
-
He's a big lad so he's got that advantage over perch if nothing else Perch did OK today.
-
Agreed, if it wasn't for Ben Arfa we would have slaughtered Chelsea today. That's the level of misunderstanding and immaturity I'd expect from a teenager. Stop pretending we played a top team today. We didn't. They'll be out of the top 5 by January at the latest.

f***ing devastating if true. Horrific news. Yep. He was superb today and has been very good this season. Only ever a matter of time before his next serious injury though.
-
Its alright, Kadar is 21. Why are you posting that?
-
We were far better when Shola came on for him.

Doesn't help much when you (and others) call him world class, like. It doesn't help when you say daft stuff like Chelsea were there for the taking either. They could have scored 8 in case you didn't notice, they still have some players who are too good for our crap players to handle. We could have beaten that Chelsea side today. A terrible team selection, stupid tactics, missed chances and abysmal defending cost us.
-
I'd like to see him bollock certain players in front of him a bit more. Apart from that he's been perfect this season.

Why would I want to sell him? Nobody would pay a penny. Plus, I want him in the team.
-
The bigger problem is the space constantly down the left side.
-
It was the same with Nile Ranger. It's incredible how people seem to think footballing ability is something that can be magically conjured up with a few matches.
-
Chelsea were there for the taking, man. So many excuses for the lad.
-
Give over, he could anihilate Ashley Cole for pace. He's just not very good.
-
Easy to see why we got him for peanuts.
