https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/big-river-sunderland-version.1580778/ One of the daft bastards has rewritten Big River in to a mackem song. Hahaha!!!!!

Puts it in to context that Sheff Wed played Hartlepool in the Leyg one playoff final a good few years ago. Little old Sun’lun went one step further and did what Hartlepool couldn’t ??

I was so looking forward to it. Sadly something has come up. If you know anyone who wants a couple for nowt in the front row……

Got two tickets for the talk in tonight at Yarm. Front row as well. Can’t make it if anyone wants them

Wonder where we would have been if the takeover has went through in the close season

If anyone knows of any tickets going please let me know. A colleague from Ireland is across and was desperate to take his son. -
Same here. Do it every day. Horrible fella

Totally thick question. A fella I work with in Northern Ireland has got me two tickets for this as he’s best friends with one of the BHA players. What’s the chances these aren’t in the away end? Is there like a players section or anything? -
If it’s Alex Neil, let’s hope it’s as resounding a success as the last former Preston Manager they hired. All together ‘we’ve got Simon Grayson’
-
Not 100% but I would imagine the loan fee would go down as operational expenditure as it’s got no value whilst permanent signings are classed as capital expenditure which depreciate over the length of the contract.
-
Imagine if we beat them 10-0, passed their records on attendance and titles in the same season. I reckon it would finish most of them off completely

I’ve got some good friends who are mackems. We have great banter. Even a group chat set up where we give each other dogs abuse. But when it comes down to it they actually wish us well (through gritted teeth) because they know in the long term it will benefit them through interest in the north east football scene. It’s good craic. I’ve taken plenty abuse from them (not as much as I’ve given). That’s what it’s all about. Football is a hobby, a side interest from the usual stuff like work and family. If it consumes them that much that they have to try miserably to manipulate Middle East geopolitics to score a few points then they probably need some sort of help.

Like how the NUFC thread is about ‘sportswashing’. Scruffy fuckers don’t even know what washing is. Signing Ba’ath is the nearest most of them have come in their lifetimes
-
I think i would celebrate that more than a Newcastle trophy win

Had to block that Exile on Twitter. Gets so annoying after a while. Was tempted to add a few comments back but it’s not worth taking the bait. He’s an absolute knacker - imagine if he believes his whole narrative when they’re all just a bunch of racist gammons who would be creaming themselves for some Middle East schilling. Fuck them. I hope they end up in the national league playing gateshead

Mustn’t have went to Saudi with the squad. Article in the Sun showing him at Manchester Airport.

Whilst a year in the Champo probably sets us back a little, not to mention the constant piss taking for 12 months, it won’t do any long term damage. A mass clear out of those stinking out the squad, making a start on the rebuild of the training ground, and maybe some tlc to the ground whilst setting up the foundations for long term success. if we can maintain the current atmosphere we would scare the shit out of a lot of teams down there. So relegation - a setback yes, but certainly not the end of the world - and yes they could have acted quicker on a number of things but let’s not forget it’s largely the actions of the previous lot who got us where we are now.
-
Not a rumour but an assumption. If this article is kosher, I could see a move for this fella in a transfer window or two https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2022/01/12/61deb5d4ca474163258b4567.html?fbclid=IwAR0qISBuUhqTzNUDFk0nhEgGpOz2i_fxAn9n6xz52vQqq1eWoN27l50Hh1o

would be a good shout to vent any lockdown frustration at

Exactly. Official partner for everything involved with the club. Separate sponsorship for training kit, training ground the whack

It’s not implausible that the people they want in key roles are already attached to someone else. If that’s the case they wouldn’t be in a position to share until they have a signed contract. it’s not smoke and mirrors like the previous clown. They just want to make the right decisions for long term success. Timings etc probably have caught them out but I have faith they’ll get it right.
