He isn’t a RCM - he’s at his best in a double pivot - had his best seasons in those positions - We are not utilising him properly - he keeps the ball ticking, covers the RB, has a fantastic engine and is tactically brilliant - that’s his role

The shape of this team is totally wrong - I have always been an advocate that we play a 4231 - Tonali and Bruno as the double pivot - interchanging with Big Joe You had Murphy yesterday constantly coming inside - it was absolutely infuriating to watch - 433 lends itself to constant sideways passing as well - Burn constantly passing it sideways behind Hall was irritating There’s no proper shape or style and we have stagnated as a result It’s something I think Eddie has to recognise quickly because the 433 has run it’s course imo

Actually I think you might be right here: it’s a good point you make: ideally you want 4 wingers at the club who are all different in their styles; ideally if you want a RW that inverts, you need a RB that’s good going forward

He’s a very exciting talent but I don’t think he’s the actual profile of RW we need - he’s more of an inverted attacker (if that makes any sense)
