  1. ok.. i admit he does that. i just wish people would appreciate more the kid who came and single-handedly saved us from relegation in a team where nobody performed and based on performances we deserved to be relegated. if any of you has seen Martins at Inter, then you've noticed how he raised his game a lot this season, despite the shite partners, the shite tactics and the clearly clueless attacking style we played. I just think there's much more to come from him and he'll improve even further as we finally have a manager who we can trust.
  2. We haven't played to his strengths, he's never had a decent partner and the team has struggled. So, all in all he did ok. The bit about his first touch shows a complete lack of understanding about football though imo. Sorry. yes, Martins doesn't understand football completely.. that's quite a statement
  3. what did you expect from Martins robot head? to score 30 goals with Sibierski and Dyer as striking partners? to never lose possession when 90% of the time the ball was played to his feet with the whole opposition defense in front of him? yes, Martins' first touch is often bad, cause he's under pressure and he rushes himself and his vision might not be the best but even if we bought fucking Leo Messi instead, i doubt he would've performed any better in Roeder's team.
  4. must keep Martins at any cost.. he'll only get better and more expensive.. i don't see why we should sell our best players, but if we really need the money, i'd rather we sell Owen..
  5. Hyypia? god no, he's slower than Moore
  6. This is a good thing? You'd get absolutely murdered. Every f****** week. If this organization creates their own European Super league the money they will recieve will be enormous. And every week Newcastle will be playing with clubs like Milan,Inter,Barca,Real Madrid while Manchester City will be playing with the likes of Birmingam,Sunderland,Wigan and Fulham Still think its not a good thing to be involved in this? it's not all about the money man..
  7. well.. i'm not too keen on the idea of another money-driven football super competition.. for various reasons

    Juventus

Well I have always liked Juve and still do. It was 4 or 5 people of the board that cheated. The players, the coach, the fans new nothing about what was going on and I have so much sympathy for all of them Its not there fault what so ever and yet there the ones which get the s*** for it. 4 or 5 people have cheated? man, this club is rotten to the core - they've paid for at least 20 of their titles over the years.. others do it too, cause that's the italian way, but juventus are consistent and that's why they don't really have any fans in italy, only abroad

    Juventus

oh, the title-buyers are back.. can't wait for all the dodgy penalties and off-side goals that'll win them the title next season. shite support, shite club
  10. i'm not sure how individual players will benefit from Allardyce' methods, but i'm sure the defense and the center midfielders will be much more organized and hopefully the team will have a recognizable attacking pattern of some sort.
  11. Duff got plenty of chances to prove he can't beat a full back.. and he proved it
  12. off topic, but is Andrew Carrol left footed?
  13. I trust Sam will do what's best..
  14. his grimace reminded me of Marlon Brando at the fruit stand
  15. aye, he did good on this particular occasion, i don't believe anybody can criticize him even if Sam turns out a failure.. i just hope that in Sam we'll have a competent manager who is capable of standing his ground in front of the chairman and the players, which would be a fresh change from Roeder's spineless approach to everything..
  16. HTT, stop it mate.. you'll curse him
  17. god, he's saying the same thing over and over again
  18. except them two, i suppose edit: hm.. what was i replying to?
