What's he saying, Mr Junk? basically, the 'reporter' is taking the piss and Mario proves that he's thick as pig shit. Worth watching even if you don't understand any of it. The way he casually sips his juice is priceless..

I'm sorry but that's just not true. He's always quick to get rid of the ball (usually with a hopeless long pass) and even when there's nobody around him, he either clears it or passes to a team mate under pressure. His job on the field is to win the ball, retain possession and calm things down. He does neither.

and add Guthrie instead of Barton

Agree. I don't think either would be expensive. Both would be good back up, although you can argue we already have plenty of players in the more attacking midfield role (I'm not sure if Ambrose is that good on the wing) What we really must do this summer is scout the motherfucking earth for a strong, mobile defensive midfielder. Quality players in that mould are few, very expensive and out of our reach but if the work is done we'll find the right man. That would improve us so much, giving more creative freedom to Guthrie/Nolan/Barton that I'd pay the majority of our budget for a good player in that position. Then again, it might just not work (as it often does with foreigners in Newcastle) and we'd be back to our old ways of wasting money. Hopefully things are now different in the dressing room and whoever we get would adapt easily to an already functioning team..

No sympathy whatsoever. How can anybody defend 3 seasons of VERY POOR performances and 7-8 million gone in wages for this waster. And for all his experience and character he's quite good at hiding from responsibility on the field, not to mention his complete lack of ability. It was evident he gave up on his Newcastle career a long time ago. A football fraud, that's what he is.. same as Duff, Owen, Carr, Smith, Viduka

He's not good enough for them either..

Intent?? This is little Leo Messi man, not one of your Italian thugs..

fuck that shit, Hughton is the right man for us.

Wouldn't give Wolves the money they would want for Doyle because I can't see them making a loss on him & he's not worth what they paid in the first place. I'd not be convinced he would get more than Carroll over the course of a season either, had to check, but he only has 7 in the Premier League this year. Don't know anything at all about the other lad either, but there's nothing in his record to suggest he's particularly prolific. Mind I have no idea who we should be signing either. Fletcher scored more, is younger and would probably cost half as much as Doyle. yeah, that's a very good shout.. I like Doyle a lot.. used to think he's somewhat overrated but he has shown immense work rate this season. He's literally carrying the team's attacking play on his back. We need a player of his type but still, can we afford to pay 7-8 million for him? Like it or not, Carroll will feature regularly next season and I think he's capable of improving further.

We can't and won't sign a better target man. You need a reality check.

So has Chopra. Carroll isn't a premiership player yet, that's all i'm saying. and you're wrong. again

I wouldn't blame Hughton if he sticks with Harper next season too. He's had a steady and consistent season after all. Although I have no idea how things stand, imo it'd be better to send Krul on loan to some Dutch club next season and have Forster as our #2. That should keep them all happy until the season after when I expect one of them to take the first team spot..

just seen the Norwich highlights on my fav show.. bloody impressive..

Agree with everything. Nolan has proved that he can be an asset but we have to use him correctly - further up the field.
