Hall has done alright so far, but I guess we can bring in a better player. tbh, I have a bad feeling about the central defense.. Williamson looks powerful and composed, but I think he'll struggle against more pacey players. Colo has his weaknesses too, although admittedly he's turned the corner.. Seeing as Stevie Taylor's contract is expiring and the likeliness of him demanding a pay rise, I wouldn't be surprised if Ashley decides to cash in on him.

I remember saying that I'd sell him even if he scores 20 goals this season.. fuck that, I take it all back Still, he should be played more as a second striker or something. He's simply a lot better further up the field.

Exactly. And fwiw I have faith in Hughton. He seems to learn from his mistakes (starting 11s/subs). He comes across as a good honest man (unlike that fraud Roeder) and in general I agree with most of his decisions and I'm impressed with his dealings in the market. I have my reservations about how well he handles the squad discipline and the back-room setup seems a bit incomplete to me. Of course I don't know much about our coaches but I feel we could do with a couple more experienced lads in the training ground. Especially somebody who can improve our possessional/attacking play. Despite the great form lately, imo we're not very good on the ball when it comes to retaining possession and general attack build up.

Robbi Keane ... why oh why oh why would you go there?! The scouting department is going to have to step up big time this summer. They're going to have to identify strikers that could come in and score at least 15 goals in the prem. They are going to have to be players who are not currently big players in the prem now either, because I just don't see anyone realistic that we can get who would be worth it. Robbie Keane's fee and wages would be absolutely stupid and he is at that 30 year old mark now. absolutely, signing Keane would be like signing Duff or Owen again.. no thanks, we have enough overpaid honest pro wankers

chances are the mastermind behind is Stevie Taylor's dad.. I'll say it again, if Taylor wants a big pay rise, I'd rather we sell him in the summer. I think he's fairly reliable and he's one of the few who hold any real passion for the club but 40-50k a week is too much.

He's a great passer and seems like a great guy to have in the squad but obviously too injury prone to be relied on.. We have Guthrie, Barton and Nolan who play in the same position. Still, it's about time somebody we fix the midfield.. Barton, Smith, Butt, Nolan are all paid too much and must all go. Hopefully we'll get rid of at least a couple of them this summer.
