What are we thinking our budget for the rest of the window is? Im guessing 120 mill with the sale of Almiron and Wilson

For an ownership group that preach the importance of process and data driven analytics, this seems a completely irresponsible way to operate. Especially when there were legitimate decent bids for Trippier and Wilson in January. Publicly discussing bids for Isak and Gordon to inflate other deals is also a terrible look and just unsettles both the players and the fans. For me it’s a huge blemish on the new ownership.

Think they will be sold after the PSR deadline. Clubs think they have us by the balls with our PSR situation and will be offering well below market value for players they know we want rid of. It’s more the players we want to keep that we will get some sort of value for. Clubs will see potential for talent like Miley, Anderson, Minteh and make a decent offer.

I do think there is interest in the likes of Wilson, Almiron and Longstaff. But clubs think we are desperate to sell and are low balling us. I do think we will see 2 of these 3 depart after the PSR deadline. At the moment it’s finding the best deal for the one sale that will keep us within limits. Looks to be Minteh or Anderson.

I think Anderson will become a solid/good PL box to box midfielder. All the ingredients are there. Also as homegrown we would need him for any future European campaigns. Would rather sell Longstaff.
-
The whole positive vibe around the club would be decimated if a player like Gordon was sold. I would be devastated.
-
His best form was in the first season back in the premier league when he played as a right midfielder in a 4-4-2. His crossing ability was handy with Nolan, Ameobi, Carroll etc. Other than that run of 10 or so games he was utter shit.
-
Of course managed to score against us this season. Much like Darwin Nunez.
-
Its been reported that Olise wants to be at a club where he has more chance of playing time and join a project that is exciting. He may look at Grealish and others at Chelsea and think a move to NUFC is better for his career at this stage. Who knows.

It doesn’t matter for FFP, but it matters for Crystal Palace who then have the money upfront to reinvest.
-
Exactly. Think he might be a bit of a salesman/bull shit artist.
-
I don’t even know if he is as good at his job as his reputation suggests.
-
Ratcliffe is such an unprincipled cheap skate of a man. Show some respect and dismiss Ten Hag before flirting with other managers. I don’t think this sort of behaviour will bode well for the culture within the club.
-
would have him as backup to Isak.
-
Backup to Isak?
-
When he’s not carrying injury and in form he is top class. But he doesn’t seem to be able to do either consistently.

Capping spending to 5/6/7 times the revenue of the lowest revenue club will allow us to catch up.

Madrid need a focal point. Joselu time coming!

Since when they trying to turn the UCL final into a B grade Super Bowl.

Hes 26, they’ll give him a 6 year contract on 150k a week. Hes sorted financially.

Surely conference league football isn’t that much of a lure. It will be the money and not having to move home.
-
Disappointing. Hopefully we have other targets lined up.

watched him play for Roma in a friendly against Milan last night. He looks promising. Very good on the ball for a tall defender.
