That trick down the Milburn wing was Colo esque. Brilliant player and comes across as a really good pro/guy too. All too easy to be a bellend in his position. Crazy that their best player and captain only cost them 6 million pounds!!

I can't agree with this in terms of Demba's quality early in the season- he was top class. However, today was a classic example of where we should have played 4-3-3 but didn't with the most likely reason being that they didn't trust Demba to track Zabaleta. The first goal comes from them outnumbering us in the middle. If Demba was to go with us signing two pacy 4-3-3 style widemen, it wouldn't be the end of my world and it would lessen the impact of the ACON next year as well. A straight swap for Gameiro wouldn't be too bad either! I agree .. I remember against Man Utd at home where his performance was completely dominant .. but since then hes the one player that frustrates the hell out of me.. as he has an inability to retain posession... without scoring goals he is not an asset to the side at all. Give over. What do you feel he offers then?

Probably not going to be a popular thing to say on here. But I wont be too fussed if we sell Ba on in the summer. His price is at the largest its going to ever be.. I just feel that even when he was scoring goals, his all round play is not good enough. His passing has been sloppy all season, he constantly trys to turn instead of playing the earlier easy pass, he struggles to physically dominate most centre halfs... If we get an offer of say 12 million pounds .. I wouldnt hesitate to sell him and replace him with a pacier/ wide player.

I think if we are going to make a move for Debuchy its going to have to be before the Euros kick off. Sagna is out with a broken leg .. so Debuchy is guranteed right back for the tournament .. this could drive his price up massively.. Lets sign him now!!

Agreed Hart, Kompany, Toure and Silva were magnificent ..

His role in the team has changed .. We are now more off a ball playing side & this is nots Tiotes strength .. Need him to get back to basics ... Sit in front of the Back four . break up the play .. then play an easy 10 yard pass to our more creative players ..

Ronaldo and objectivity when it comes to Peter Lovenkrands.. He only started games after January and scored around a goal every 2 games .. Had a key partnership with Carroll that got us promoted... Cant see how you can slag the guy off..

Wasnt really Cabayes fault... He was trying to push forward and make our attack tick more .. we lsot possesion .. hed ran his arse off for 65 minutes and was knackered.. really think we should have played with a midfield 3 ... with ferguson left wing and gutierrez defensive mid....

I think we dont get too far ahead of ourselves. We have the nucleus of a fairy good side, but still are nowhere near peaking. We also lack alot of depth, which is always going to be a problem with our financial restrictions. If we treat next season like we did this season, I think we will be happy with how we end up. First goal is the magical 40 points. Once we reach that we reassess our goals and see what positions in the league we can compete for.

Bit harsh on both players. I think Berbatov posessed fantastic technique, a great footballing brain. The only thing he lacks is workrate/desire which makes all the difference.
