My main issue with Gosling, is his inability to retain posession. Seems to always lose the ball.
-
Aye, his fantastic form of earlier in the season has definitely gone. Good for our CL chances, not so good for my national team's euro chances.. Definately, 3 months ago he would have smashed that chance jsut then, straight into the far post. Just shows that we are alll probably being too harsh on Ba's poor goalscoring form. It happens to the best.

Van Persie looking a little below "Ba"... i mean par .. at the moment

Whenever we score a goal we never rout a team. We usually go into defensive mode.

I have enjoyed it. First season in a long time where any team is capable of getting a result in any game. Some classic matches as well.

I do not know if it will stay at Newcastle, he loves this club, he invites many players to come play in Newcastle, but for him he knows that he will later go to another club, I think it was keep in mind two years and leave. Now it has been a year because of his injury, and he loves the club too, so maybe it does remain one more year. One thing is certain he will leave it for the money, he wants to play he prefers football and even stop having any more money if he takes more pleasure. Besides, he left a million Euro bonus for playing in Marseilles, the money is not the most important. most for him is to have fun and have titles, if he sees that big players leaving the club and he is no desire to play titles there for sure it will leave. we must also see your president who wants to sell it for money Hi Hatem, please stay at the club .. we all love you

I think we should sign ..... Douglas/M'biwa/Alderwiereld as 1st choice centre-half Debuchy/M'bengue/ Pieters as 1st choice fullback Martin/Sigurdsson/Belhanda as 1st choice midfielder Hoilett/ Griezmann as a wide forward

I would do the same for sure. These things happen only a couple of times in a lifetime for Toon fans.

HOOF Stop ruining my dreams you evil man you! We are a team that play our most attractive football on the counter attack. For the time being we dont have the players capable of playing like Swansea or Arsenal, we have to play quite direct. I dont mind for the time being as long as we can progress to keeping posession a little better, which i think will be alot better once we get a centre back and a fullback with alot better technique than Williamson and Simpson.

Read this earlier .. obviously quotes taken from some sort of interview in France. You would have to say that maybe Cabayes head would be turned if Arsenal were to make an offer for him?
-
Absolutely love him .. Amazing defender .. Love the class the man has .. The way he deals with the children before the game .. The way he has the confidence to pass the ball out of tight situations .. What a man!
-
Targeted by the big clubs I believe so probavbly out of our grasp.
-
Sczechny should also be nominated for young player!

I apologise for claiming you have an anti British footballer agenda. It is clear that I was mistaken. It is an anti footballer from English speaking country agenda. Based on what? All I'm saying is that there has been very few Australian footballers at the top level and even those that are considered to be the most successful would struggle to make our current first XI when at their peaks. The emotive language was because aussiemag was in the thread, point still remains. I have no agenda. I would take Bresciano and Cahill as our third in our midfield three, Kewell over Jonas or Ba on our left and Viduka over Ba upfront. Neill over Simpson, and Moore over williamson too. Brett Emerton over Simpson, Neill over Williamson

I do remember the night when we beat you lot 3-1 backc in 2003.

You don't disagree with my point though, that for him to be a permanent fixture in our team as it stands (and hopefully going forward) he has to become the best Aussie defender since Joe Marston? I havent disagreed Sewelly. At the end of the day my main allegiances lay with what is best for Newcastle United. So any attempt to troll me into a reaction about "Australian players being s***" is going to be unsuccessful. Posting a list of Australia's greatest footballers and future talents suggests otherwise. Just educating the population of this message board on the state of Australian football whilst we are on topic

Mark Bresciano, Mark Schwarzer, Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka, Jason Culina, Luke Wilkshire, Lucas Neill, Craig Moore, Scott Chipperfield, Tim Cahill, Vince Grella have been/all genuinely good players. We are a top 20 side in the world and are in a rebuilding stage. We have some good young players coming through like Rhys Williams (Middlesborough), Matthew Spiranovic (Urawa Red Diamonds), Tommy Oar (FC Utrecht), Tom Rogic ( Winner of Nike Academy), Mustafa Amini (Borussi Dortmund-next season) Matthew Leckie ( Borussia Monchengladbach), Chris Herd (Aston Villa) and Massimo Luongo (Tottenham Hotspur)
