  1. Work with a Bremen fan ... he says although Marin showsw glimpses of his undoubted quality .. it is far too rare and he is far too inconsistant. Will more than likely struggle with the physical aspect of the premier league.
  2. 2 minutes until the teams are posted .... OOOOooooOOOOO the suspense
  3. Would quite like them to get up .. another derby .. and scott mcdonald and rhys williams playing in the premier league
  4. Everton, West Brom, Arsenal, Newcastle, Liverpool .... Papiss Cisse to score first ... Newcastle to win 3-0 ......
  5. Thank God we were able to figure this out. Quality american humour there
  6. So everyone agrees the team will be as follows; Krul Simpson Williamson Coloccini Santon Tiote Jonas HBA Cabaye Ba Cisse Subs: Elliot, Perch, R.Taylor, Guthrie/Gosling, Best, Ferguson, Ameobi
  7. No pretty sure hes implying that we shouldnt but any more african players, as wed lose half of our strongest 11 for 6 weeks possibly.
  8. Didn't realize he was a white supremacist though! We all know what he meant .. lets not get all mackem about it
  9. Anal was on the books of NUFC for a number of years under Freddie, which was a f***ing disgrace. Journalists need to be independent. Perhaps more of a balance to what is going on at the moment. It seems like none of the journalists have any idea what is going on inside the club. All we get is the same type of interview with a different player every week.
  10. At least Anal Oliver had some insight into the club .. so would publish alot of rumours that were interesting to read. Lee actually knows nothing.
  11. Corchia/Debuchy, Mbiwa/Douglas, Martin/Belhanda, Hoilett/Rodriguez
  12. EXCLUSIVE: Melbourne Heart star Curtis Good is edging closer to a dream move to English Premier League high-flyers Newcastle United who have extended the trial of the talented teenage defender. Good, 19, recently left Melbourne at the conclusion of Heart's A-League season for a 10-day trial with the Magpies. This followed a breakout season by Good as the former AIS player established himself as a left sided central defensive force at Heart. The powerful, ball-playing central defender was due to have finished his trial with Newcastle early this week. But the rising star of the A-League has done enough to be offered an extension on his trial period and will remain at United till this Friday. It will give manager Alan Pardew and his coaching staff more time to assess whether or not they see the Heart man as first team material at a club that's challenging for an automatic UEFA Champions League spot next season. "It's just a short trial. I'll just train and play games, and if they're happy, I'll hopefully get an offer, but if not, then I'll just enjoy the experience,” Good told United’s website before the trial was extended. This season the former AIS star played 25 times for Heart under Dutch mentor John van’t Schip (now coach of Mexican club Chivas). Good helped Heart qualify for the A-League finals in only their second season in Australia's top league.

Coloccini went off injured very early that game.. only for an out of form Perch to replace him.
  15. Most posters on here have seen some quality players it seems. I know alot of football mad fans, that can only brag about seeing Dwight Yorke, Robbie Fowler and Harry Kewell play. So you should all feel privileged to watch the high quality of football that you have.
  16. Surely he should get called up! Hes one of the best 2 centre backs in arguably the best league in the world, is only 30 which is prime for a centreback. There is something wrong if he doesnt get a call up.
  17. Wow do you rate Ogenovski that highly oldtype? Ive always found him to be pretty average, just a beast of a defender with no pace or technique on the ball. However, i probably dont rate him that high because hes quite outspoken about how highly he rates himself, seems to think he should be guranteed a place in Australias starting 11. I'm Korean. The CBs I usually watch are terribad. At least he's big and great in the air. f***ing terrifying from set pieces. haha understandable. Its quite unbelievable how only 5 or 6 years ago he was building scaffold on building sites in Melbourne. Then within 4 years he was Asian Player of the Year. Incredible story really. Hows Luke de Vere doing in the K-league at the moment? Always showed alot of promise, but ive heard rumours that hes struggling?

  19. Some comments on another thread got me thinking about the diversity of backgrounds of people on this board. I am wondering what the best 11 you could put together of players you have seen live. Will be interesting to see what people living in Sweden, USA etc. have as their best 11. To start things off mine would be as follows; Krul Van der Wiel Coloccini Terry A.Cole Tiote Scholes Valencia Schneider Giggs Shearer
  20. Sebastien Corchia would be a perfect signing as a right back. Young, French, plenty of quality attacking.
