I like the bit where he taps a linesman on the shoulder for a £20k fine and a ban and they say it's an example of his temper. No worse than Meyler on him, but Meyler has done nowt wrong. They're barmy man.

Id guess for the shove on Pardew. Can't be. Savage and Hansen say "a hundred times" it was unprovoked

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3z0wMr8rhM My Mrs doesn't care about football, but she was losing her blob watching them go on and on about what a massive huge, disgrace it was on MOTD... so I thought I would edit it down to a short selection of the criticism. I'm sure it's very fair from an outsider perspective.... Why was Meyler booked though?

People talking shite about never seeing owt like it... http://www.bbc.co.uk/nottingham/content/articles/2008/06/13/clough_apology_1989_video_feature.shtml Pardew is owed an apology.

Aye. The suggestion that ashley won't appreciate any bad publicity should be laughed out of town.

http://i61.tinypic.com/fyimfm.jpg For those people that seem certain Ashley's doing such a better job. The ONLY positive I can see is the one that Ashley had from the day he arrived, he's wealthy enough to cover the cluster fuck he inherited and worsened. -

Does nobody on the forum ever ask "What's the point of this if you're just lying to us?" It wasn't just Llambias or Pardew or Kinnear, in September's forum the club said http://www.nufc.co.uk/page/Fans/FansForum/0,,10278~3462657,00.html The accounts show that to be a lie out by a factor of £10m. At that time they said... Now they say that it will never be used otherwise, with a piss-take comment about it costing anyone interested £129m They said then... Now they're trying to say he's not taken any money out of the club. Now they say it was a boardroom view. Shambles. Either they don't know the facts and are being sent out as patsies (which I doubt for John Irving or Lee Charnley) or they do know the facts and are lying through their teeth. Members of the forum shouldn't dignify it with their presence.

I think it's what justified his purchase in the first place. He would have been aware of the cost to buy that amount of advertising. The nonsense about wanting us for a bit of fun he was willing to spend on is bollocks -

...or ashley might start charging interest himself if our profits continue long enough to incur a tax charge that he'd prefer to avoid. -

But if the advertising is free, and the club still makes a profit, couldn't he also take debt repayments out? TBF, I genuinely don't understand the 'we need debt in the structure' comment. http://m.ft.com/cms/s/0/0ab3e042-13bb-11e0-814c-00144feabdc0.html I don't see Ashley benefitting because he's not paying interest. However, if anyone else were to buy the club it could be mutually beneficial if Ashley were to charge interest and the buyer were to have some debt built in, for tax avoidance. -

http://i61.tinypic.com/v4m4ua.jpg Ignoring the good news bear's perception of commercial/match day income and turnover rising since last year, in the overall scheme of things they remain either pretty much static or down overall under Ashley. At least they're going the right direction. -

We have to travel to Liverpool and Arsenal. Last 3 away were Chelsea, Nowrich and West Ham. Are you on meth? -
In the next 5 games Arsenal play Spurs, Chelsea and Man City. Chelsea have Spurs and Arsenal Man City have Man U and Arsenal Liverpool have Man U and Spurs Reckon they're the least likely to drop many points from those.

That's the table Garth Crooks and co look at when they tell us Pardew is doing a good job this year. This is the one they should look at... http://i61.tinypic.com/30xh4jo.jpg Scraped survival by the skin of our teeth last year...but we were still outscoring this years shambles. The quality in the league is dreadful. 14 teams (maybe 13) whose only aim is not to lose games. -
It was a time saving diagram. Not to show that our 6 players all conglomerate in the middle, but that they're all covering so much of the same ground together they end up in a mush in the middle of the park. Like it would look if you did a heat map of an under fives game where they all chase the ball all day. I'm sure we all agree on the point, without making it a boring statistical debate. Gouffran, for the most part stuck to the left, on occasion he swapped out right which could be a tactical switch if worked well to stretch the opposition... http://i62.tinypic.com/2vd31ts.jpg Sissoko though, seemed more interested in a free role where he could roam left and right at will and seemed to do as much work on either flank... http://i57.tinypic.com/2j4f0yd.jpg
