Worked just as well as it did when he brought Meyler on for his only striker at our place and conceded the equaliser within 5 minutes. As much as I like Hatem, he didn't do much today. The team is poor though, don't think defensive Hull team has a need for him. Bruce is too much like Pardew. I thought he was alright tbh, couple of little runs , few nice touches, worked hard too. not amazing, but a solid 55. Was quite impressed with hull first half too.

I don't think anywhere has said he is available other than a discussion on Total Sport last night which suggested that he might be. Seemingly injured players have tipped up and played unexpectedly before. Pardew has said he has a small chance for Saturday.

Said it before but it's hardly a coincidence he and the team are defending better as soon as Williamson went out the team. Not saying it's all down to that but he makes a big difference.

To be fair gouffran, Williamson and cisse were all left on bench today. Only because the kids who were sent out to lose to City confounded the king by playing stormers. Point still stands though, he's kept those playing well in the team. Hopefully they keep performing.
