Maybe, maybe not. But I’d argue he’s earned the right to have final say on transfers regardless. All the players he brings in have to be of the right mentality, age and of certain level of ability. He’s nailed it so far.

Its 100% far from ideal and no doubt mistakes have been made. But I don't see a situation where we spend loads on someone we dont want, EH just doesnt work like that, he wont do it. We'll get what we need I'm pretty sure of it. I think we're just going to have to trust them and hold our nerve.
