Wont know what players he will sign until he's given the job. Wont know what type of tactical ability he will have until he gets the job. Wont know how impartial he will be towards Owen until he gets the job? How can you expect any of these questions to be answered until he's given the opportunity?

i think the blokes quality to be honest. All these "World Class" players we have, obviously arent. Maybe the teams they play in make them look better than what they are? I keep thinking Gerrard is unstoppable, but i cant remember the last good game he had for England. We all know about Lampard. Bridge was a disgrace. Carson had a mare. Richards disapeared when the going got tough. Beckham and Crouch are the only ones that came out with any credibility. So yeah, i agree with Keane.

not sure if what you have said is 100% accuarate. I remember watching Warren Barton or Beresford (cant remember which) who said in Keegans days even if we won 1-0 the crowd were disgruntled. I was out in Town last night, in Centurians (not my choice) and sitting having a pint looking at the screens, and Newcastle-Online was being shown on Sky News?? No sound so dont know what is was about then it showed Owen directly afterwards. Anyone else see this? Anyone know what it is about?

Fair enough, and i did notice a lot of people saying they would have him. The examples were aimed at "Pie" who said no one said they didnt want him. When i said "no one" quite obviously i didnt mean everyone because that would be ridiculous. My point being, its amazing how a year or two ago people can go from feeling like they did in the examples i mentioned, too people saying he should replace Owen. Also, regardless of when the article was taken from, it still shos how people change there mind like the wind.
