In terms of probability though, they could finish anywhere this season. They're clearly not great, but the championship is open enough that they could get a playoff space. Redknapp was undoubtedly a good manager, but clearly dodgy as hell and a bit of a wide boy which doesn't exactly do much to enhance his reputation. That said I've met him briefly at a petrol station a few months back and he came across really well, and everyone else I know who's met him (he used to do charity work for a company who shared our building, so that's quite a lot of people) say the same - that he's a really decent bloke. So since he's finished with football I've revised my opinion on him upward quite a bit.

I'm a big fan of his generally because he's our best attacking outlet and he was great v Forest. I'm not going to get too annoyed at a flair player having a bad game. I was glad he got booked for diving though. Hopefully it discourages him from trying that shit again.

That was terrible. We created nothing, absolutely nothing over 90 minutes. I don't recall even getting excited once during that.

Given that we're likely to be pushing for a top half, maybe European place this year, and definitely looking to build to assault the top 6 in the coming seasons, I cannot imagine for a single minute that any of the top 6 will lend us anyone. However good Almiron looks, he'll need replacing unless he can develop some end product. He had none of that on Saturday.
