Probably good news for them, getting rid of Donald seems positive.

Dele Alli is finished. Completely finished.

I've already said my main problem is removing £30m (or whatever number) from our transfer budget and adding it to that of a direct rival. If he was a superstar they couldn't replace, fair enough, but the general perception is they're going to use that money to go and buy someone better
-
It isn't But IF it's true, then he might be too busy trying to fix his personal life to play / train.
-
Howe should absolutely be respected for what he's done, that goes without saying, but let's remember Steve Bruce had a Uefa license. He was utterly shit and clueless, and I'll die on the hill that I should absolutely NOT respect his opinion. I don't think Uefa licenses in and of themselves prove much about anyone.

EPL class isn't enough for us anymore. We need CL class now. And anyway, loads of players make lots of appearances for clubs despite not being good enough. Shola Ameobi played nearly 400 times for us and was consistently terrible, he was almost never good enough for us even when we were awful. Looking online, most Man U fans seem to think McTominay's shit and want rid of him, and are begging us to give them £30m+ to take him off their hands. That tells me everything I need to know.
-
Well it doesn't really move the dial on my thoughts if it's "only" £25m instead. Hate the idea of bankrolling a rival by taking their unwanted trash for good money.
-
Yeah that's kinda my point. Everyone, even Man U, had shit attendances in the 80s. Then when the PL started and football rebooted and became fashionable again, everyone's attendances jumped. Sure, that coincided with us having a good run, but looking at every single other club we'd have seen a decent boost anyway.
-
I absolutely trust Howe and the transfer team, even though I'm not fan of McTominay. My biggest problem is that I hate the idea of us removing £40m from our budget and adding it to that of a direct rival to get him
-
See, this is the amazing thing about Keegan. The power of Keegan is such that, not only did he increase OUR attendances in the years after he left, but he also more than doubled Sunderland's.
-
Loads of them on there taking time out of their day to go into a Newcastle thread, and then reply to it saying how little they care about us and they don't give us a second thought anymore. Yeah, ok. Sounds convincing to me.

I'm so fucking hungover this morning. Like, 'Sam Fender post takeover' levels of hungover.

Obviously not the ideal result because obviously I'd rather have won tonight, but a Leicester win next weekend can send down Leeds and Everton. I'll take that.
-
Why have you waited so long? I'm well-gone. But it's never too late.

The channel I've been watching has just been entirely coverage of our lap of honour, interviewing Longstaff, Trippier and Pope on the pitch and it's been fantastic. No idea what channel it is though as it's not exactly from a legal source but by god I've lapped up every second of it.
-
I wanted the win, desperately, but I'm not remotely ashamed to say I've sat here and just broke down in tears watching the players walk round the pitch with the crowd singing. 45 years old, drinking corner shop cans of lager, watching a football match on a mobile phone in a hotel room in Hungary and sobbing away in happiness. CHAMPIONS. FUCKING. LEAGUE. Fuck it, I'm opening the wine. There's nothing I need to do tomorrow that I can't do with a hangover.
-
Fucking stadium announcer bellowing out how much stoppage time there is as we put the corner in. No wonder Wilson missed it. Idiot.
-
I love Bruno but he needs to cut that shit out of his game because it's not helpful at all to anyone.
-
Ground just looks astonishing. So proud of everything to do with this club right now.
-
Well, ideally not to Ashley, Pardew and Bruce's....
-
Kane would be mad to stay. He has one good contract left in him, where if he wants he can basically pick his club from any in the world. Unless he just loves playing for Spurs, in which case fair enough.
-
Edit - Ah, OK
-
No idea who he is but this reeks of someone trying to come up with a solution to a problem that previously didn't exist, solely because he's annoyed his team's been pushed out of the top 4 and might not be back there any time soon....
