That's true, I forgot about that. But unfortunately I think that kind of behaviour is pretty normalised n the former-football community (/most communities with that level of wealth) and won't really get you judged if you're personable.

I'm 32 and I'll wear a Newcastle shirt to the gym and that, or maybe if I'm just hoying some shorts and a top on to pop to the shops. I don't buy them that often these days, but got the latest one (I didn't get any Wonga ones). I'm more inclined to wear the recent one cos I like the collar too. And I have to wear black and white to the match, no matter what, even if it's covered. That could be a retro or recent top. Regarding the new tops - I hate when they make the badge match the colour scheme of the top. Feel like the colours of the badge are pretty fundamental to it and shouldn't be changed.

I had a season ticket but when I gave it up I transferred it to someone else, which also meant they got all my away points. Wonder where that puts me, if I'm even on record as previous holder or if I was just wiped for the new guy. (This also means when I go back I never get away or home tickets in my name, I get them through that guy)

Bollocks do you man. I was a regular at away games for ~18 years years til moved away 7 years ago and I knew a handful of standouts (your likes of John Alder wearing a suit every match), and I bet hardly anyone knew me.

He seems a bit rubbish now, but that must be cos he's on decline (or in a bad patch). Double figures in the PL for Burnley the last 4 seasons isn't rubbish (and the year before that was 27 in the Championship). He was poorer than my fairly low expectations, but the team he was part of did a great job, so I think he deserves some credit for that. Think it's already time to move on though, if we're pushing on can't see he's shown enough to even be a back-up. Watching the goal he scored against us for Leeds in the Championship can't even really imagine that now.
