They may not work well together, though i think it;s too quick to say that, but they can score many goals anyway, if we have a productive midfield. We probably have those players, just not the management.

As someone said though, this summer roeder needs to be sacked or given a contract extension. As it's clear he wont get an extension, he has to go. He will be totally undermined next season by the knowledge he's off at the end of the year.

Sunderland are another club that has potential to be up there with such a take over, but the irish have obviously already got them. I'd encourage an american takeover. I dont think we'd lose too much identity, i think it's that or be left behind.

Allardyce is not better than Roeder, if he was that good, his best season would not be below an average Manager who was picking up Souness' mess, as much as you want to believe its true. Look at Moyes at Everton, he may have flirted with relegation a few times, but he's had them finish in the top 4 and they're not far away again. He hasnt been blessed with the same duration as Allardyce either. Allardyce is another mediocre Manager. If he's that fuckin good explain to me how come a s*** Manager like Roeder can finish above him with the problems he inherited? Could I see Roeder finishing above Wenger? Ferguson? Benitez? Mourinho? Absolutely not, Allardyce, no problem. That wasn't Alladyce's best season. They finished 6th the year before, just behind liverpool

This is Keane's first season as a manager. They were bottom when he took over. ...are two simple reasons. Bottom after 4 games... Fair enough for new. How crap are burnley? incapable of stringing 2 passes together. The commentator's banging on about how there are 20 000 more there than on keane's first game- as if it's something to be proud of. Surely it just highlights there are 20 000 glory hunters there.
