Church calls for ban on Sunday morning football matches
Superior Acuña replied to NG32's topic in Football
Piss off church please. The Invisible lobster Keith says no football on Wednesdays, should we stop footy on wednesdays? If you want to listen to the bible, anyone who works on the sabbath should be stoned to death. -
In the programme apparently
-
They've all jumped on the fact the commentator mentioned the blaydon races lyrics were printed For one, who even knew that? And secondly, yeah for the verses we don't normally sing pathetic
-
To be fair, it's like that when you concede an early goal and show no sign of coming back. Was in the first half when we won 4-1

I only ever saw elastic bands and paper being thrown, which is hardly something to worry about.
-
I can't see anything on the bbc site?
-
There's a pitch invasion every time they score at the Stadium of light against us, whether it was given as a goal or not.
-
They were really gutted by the early goal. Don't think they sang once all game.
-
I dont hate him or anything and remember him fondly for THAT goal and understand his move, but i booed him. He's wearing a sunderland shirt, so he gets booed. fair.

from readytogo.net "what about the fact they are big headed wankers that think they are the best thing since sliced bread. what about the fact that we have a poxy tyneside post mark. what about the fact we are classed as a suberb of newcastle by BT. what about the fact we paid for the metro, the airport, eldon sq. metro centre. boosting their city , while we have lost all things good about a town that used to be the shopping centre for all the outlining villages. when i was a kid the town centre was packed. with people spending their hard earned cash in quality shops. ffs oh and lets not forget that anyone wanting a job on the tyne would have no chance with a wearside address. point is that fucking place is on the up. while we are fucked. banter ffs . HATRED"

Isn't this still their most successful prem season ? Has earned at least a 2nd season!
-
To be fair, Kenny was a highly rated manager.
-
I think Crouch is a very good player. If anything, too good to come to us.

I was 6 in the Scotland end at that game. I cried (seriously) Shearer v Sunderland. Possibly the most nervous i've ever been when he stepped up, and having equalised a minute earlier it was 2 minutes of pure joy, followed 4 mins later by more! Nobby in the last minute against Leeds to put us top, Dabizas v Sunderland and even though i wasn't there (damnit) Bellamy v Feyernord. -
Love him. Granted he was poorer earlier but to say he looked disinterested is absolute crap, and i beleive people wish to think this of him

Is N'Zogbia's exit inevitable? (Maybe not - Page 24!)

I'd like a sell on fee attached. He's the sort i can imagine having one good season then ending up at liverpool -
will we beat Sunderland next time we play them?
Superior Acuña replied to bulivye's topic in Football

Viduka ? hardly -
I think Bentley could be tempted by moves to Villa or Newcastle. It would be difficult to persuade him, but i think it'd be worth a shot. I think those 2 and Everton have a more realistic chance of getting amongst it, despite current standings.
-
I don't get why his subs get booed. I like him and he played well but owen was better. People just seem too see him as immune whatever.
-
Third. Playing in a rubbish team but still a spark, the sort of player that would have helped us much this season
