Nothing ever goes right for us like, its sickening
-
So glad i havent added him to nufc on fifa yet
-
I cant believe our players would be talking so open about it if he changed his mind. Loics like money does indeed talk
-
Hmm, you would have to question a players motives signing for qpr like, bit of a fucking nightmare for us though
-
To right he should check the club matches his own ambition, does not make him mercenary just means he wants to be in successful team, if we can reassure him of our ambitions then i would not blame him wanting to leave
-
You hear so much conflicting stuff about Graham it's hard to know what's really going on there. Considering where he drinks I would be surprised if he wants to play for the scum, alternatively I heard he may be wary of playing for us as his life would never be his own - valid point really as at least with Swansea he is off the radar for our superfans
-
So in our first 11 we will have - 2 dutch internationals - 1 Argentina internationals - 1 Italian international - 1 Ivory coast international - 4 french internationals - 1 Senegal international and just Willo to replace with someone proper - not bad ( I know Anita / Santon not regulars/in team at moment)
-
Anita is in no way a destroyer, we need someone like Tiote in there just sitting when our full backs run on and breaking up play. Unfortunately Anita/Cabaye are no replacement for Tiote in that respect no matter what some think of Tiote these days
-
Aye he's done that before too. I remember when we got beat away at Stevenage and he decided to portion all blame for that on Tim Krul which was quite baffling indeed. A big concern for me at the moment is how we can't mix our play up to any degree of success. Take yesterday for example - we try to keep solid at the back which worked. Yet we posed no threat at all going forward. We looked good going forward at Old Trafford and The Emirates yet our defending was shambolic. We just can't get that balance right at all. Agreed. AP seems to have no idea to get this sorted either. Taking yesterday, we were a little open in the first half but that was mainly due to Perch and Anita being all over the place in the middle and having no structure in protecting the defence. I think if we'd have just shored Perch up a little better, then we would have been a lot more balanced, but instead we went completely into our shell and moved everyone, bar Cisse, further back. His interpretation of high pressing is weird as well and was a big factor in being vulnerable in that first half. I get Marveux pressing along with Cisse but the former was closing down full backs too, despite having wide men to do that job already, rendering the 3 man midfield pointless. And sometimes Perch was the furthest man forward with Marveaux taking up a defensive midfield role. It just seems over complicated, we were too fluid in the middle and looked weak as a result. He needs to develop the foundations from which we build attacks and ensure we are not so vulnerable to counter. We need a better CB than Williamson, Debuchy will hopefully help. We also need discipline in that midfield 2/3 to ensure we close out the space as other teams do to us
-
Mind it's good that we seem to be taking window at least half serious, two signings with a lot of potential for us. We need to start performing and dominating on the pitch now though and think a Center Half and Hard Working/Dominating midfielder will help us do that. We have players like Cabs and Anita who can pass the ball and create but need someone to break things down really. Problem is I don't know who, having Cabaye's workrate back will help massively but need that midfield to defence area closed down a bit when we don't have the ball and need to get the ball back quicker than we do
-
My worry about that line up is to weak and small in centre midfield, not tough enough really. We could do with someone sitting alongside Cabs or Anita really, and I wouldn't mind a 6 footer
-
Be great if we could now grab a Centre Half and Strong midfielder - box to box
-
In the centre today wooo hooo, please supply him with crosses and through balls

If we do lose this i reckon it will all kick off -
Okay, let's just give him to San Lorenzo. Its like the falklands, they think its their right to have him. Cant give a player away for free no matter the circumstance, he could always take unpaid if he really needs to go home. Hope he doesn't though, dont fancy prospect of rest of season without him
-
If there's a draft, close it your bloody self. it just has a familiar feel to it
-
Sick of window now, please close
-
Problem with Taylor is he lets things go to his head and wants to be this have a go hero. I think he is a good defender but really dont think he is a captain. I think the way we are going with french players Cabaye is the best we have for that role. I also think midfield is the right place for the captain for some reason
-
He looks like he will top quality in a few years, his work rate, ball retention and use of the ball are class at times. Still naive and agree a loan would be good, but the money we paid looks an absolute bargain
-
Its hard to take knowing he will go, best defender in years and love the bloke. Wish it was summer if has to happen, we have lost players before and are still here, but losing him and the prospect of tayls, willy, perch fighting for cb is shocking for a pl club

Feeling strangely positive as week has gone on, probably because looking forward to cabaye, debuchy and cisse central. Although colo news has knocked it a bit. I reckon we may go and win it -
We will find a leader and spend 3 transfer windows looking and preparing for a bid. You know that and i know that In all honesty cabaye probably best shout
-
In fairness 30,000 blokes regularly offer him the chance of a shag with their missus so if he has took someone up on the offer he can't really be blamed
-
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH the world as we know it is ending, I was hoping for a CB to play with Colo not replace him, can't stand the thought of Williamson and Perch at CB for rest of season and suicide rates on tyneside will be sky high

Does look like they are buying physical players, maybe MONg wants them to man up as I know their fans complain they never look ready for physical battle, I always thought that was their main strength. Wonder how MONg will handle new foreigners to the league and integrating, not really any history of it I don't believe
