It ruins the league in my opinion, we and many other clubs including man u just can't compete with there money, it distorts the market also and makes it more expensive for clubs like ourselves to hold on to their good players. I would not want it to happen to us, in fact I am enjoying the innovation of our plan which is what has to happen when you have no money. Ultimately if city come after our players this summer I just hope we rip them off. I wont be pissed off at our management because what can they do when someone offers 30 million for a player that cost 5, they have to follow their business model

He is trying far to hard now and does not have the technique to play wide left in front 3 or withdrawn striker imho. I think the team are trying to hard to get him a goal as well rather than just playing for goals and it will come again. He is still getting some good chances just not happening for him.

Be interesting to see what we come up with this summer and whether we can get the same value. Also whether we act early or leave it until after euros/olympics to do our business. Sign a Centre Half, Right Back (Or left back) and another option in midfield and I will be happy. Would like to see us sign a young striker to learn from Cisse and Ba and deputize when away at ACON. Imagine where we would be had it not been for ACON this season

His man management, PR and general way he conducts himself are top class like. Add to that he does not seem tactically naive at all and seems to motivate the fuck out of our lads, hope he does not let it all go to his head because he could build something that will last at this rate. The way Cabaye, Cisse, Ba, Santon etc have settled has been incredible considering the issues we have had in the past with foreign players and being told its the first season and takes time to settle. Cabaye looks like he has been playing premier league for a good few years

Always liked him as a manager, always thought he would do a good job here. He has never really came across as a cunt or anything, think he will be good enough for a bigger club eventually. Seems to have the right approach to football like. Good tactically, has them playing some good stuff as well. Perch is a lot more disciplined though tbh, his distribution is miles better and a good tackler, not fantastic but better than Simpson. Difference being Perch knows his limits, Simpson thinks he is much better than he is, fucking jogging back and stopped for 2nd goal (Where colo messed up as well), fucking horrible player as a starter

Btw, fucking big respect to Martinez playing that formation and having that team playing decent football - must stay up now, prefer them to Blackburn and Bolton

Thought Cabaye at least tried to get us playing today. Wish Ben Arfas engine had started in the first half also, he was quality for that 10-15 minute spell, just nothing went for us today up front. We need to play compact against Chelsea and look for the breaks. I do hope Pardew does not change the 4-2-3-1 formation though, it allows us to be fluid, just needs to tinker with the shape

Thought he was rattled at first but grew into the game and was quality after. Definitely big player for future, good on the ball, getting better with his discipline and defending also. Shows Simpson right up

Maybe the time is right to put Ryan Taylor or Perch in there. Both offer more than Simpson tbh
