Never saw this one coming, look forward to the excitement of the relegation battle that will commence following our plucky effort at high flyers Hull this weekend

3 defeats and a draw, wouldn't want him even till end of season, we will get relegated

This literally makes no sense at all Even if he was frequently referred to as JD it still wouldn't make any sense. What a fucking tragic bunch they are

You would think we could see the future or something, at the same time would they really risk putting Carver in charge before it, knowing fans will just cancel. If they don't make any change it will play on peoples mind whether to cancel or not. My Dad is flat out refusing to go back until things change (And he has a season ticket), stopped going after Sunderland game.

It's a very good signing for this season to keep them up because that will pay for it, I'm not sure they would have gone down anyway as always seem to fight back. The only concern I would have as a Mackem (Apart from when I can collect my benefits) would be the fact they seem to be signing older players and short term solutions. They have Oshea, Brown, Réveillère, Defoe all over the age of 30 with a few approaching that age, plus quite a number of not good enough players. What is their strategy as it just seems to be surviving and worse than ours in that we try and buy young players or those not far off prime that at least have some value. They have bought players that have not really increased in value and for the most part are on their way down.

Aye, I can strangely put up with him a bit more than Pardews punchable face but my f***ing word I would cry if he got it. He talks about Souness regime as if he wouldn't totally ruin us in that way if he got the job. Now we may all be totally wrong about him and he may well have a sound football philosophy and being at the club he loves will trigger it, but I think we all know that's not going to be the case and he is just a rambling fuckpig who holds Pardew in the same regard as Bobby and Keegan probably. 2 managers that you believed when they spoke and results and performance showed how class they were f***ing Souness man, the only appointment that was more ridiculous than Palace paying for Pardew, at least Pardew had us top 10 we PAID for a manager that was sat at the bottom of the table with a demoralised Blackburn ffs. Carver is a mistake, a big mistake and if your trying to rationalise an argument against that you need your head checked! We deserve better and should absolutely be aiming higher. Yeah, I'm really not trying to rationalise I reckon it would be catastrophic. When Souness was appointed I called it, sat with my mate I said he would put us back 10 years, it was worse than appointing Dogleash after Keegan. Going from a forward thinking progressive manager to defensive boring shit was never going to work. We have the opportunity to do it the other way around again and I hope to fuck we choose well
  7. Better for both to be down there rather than playing reserve football. Not sure what the crack with Campbell is, whether he can't handle the physical side / just doesn't show up. Smaller players seem to slip through the net, can see same with Arma at some point if he doesn't find a position / style that works for him. Can't help but think small strikers only work in right setup and have excellent technical skills. Better off becoming attacking midfielders / wingers
  8. Youth deal wtf, Campbell must be about 30 now is he? - feels like an age since Pardew ruined him anyway

    - Would probably nut a football player - Would probably call a respected manager a cunt - Doesn't care about buying players, happy to just tag along - Is very adept at losing games and could keep this roller-coaster of shit going Not going for him - Will probably - no definitely relegate us by end of next season In truth we don't know, he could be awesome and just respects differing approaches to the game and has been happy to fall into line and follow the bosses orders. It's a lot different than actually managing the team I would imagine

  11. Hope he is back in, I think he has potential to make us tick just sitting in front of Colo/Dummet or whoever and ten times more intelligent than Tiote. Cabella just has to play and him, Ayoze and Sissoko have to be given a license to get at these. Standard 2-0 defeat
  12. This but with Santon rather than Haidara who I think lacks discipline in getting back and doesn't yet know when it's best to stay back or get forward. It'll come mind. I can still remember a lot of us moaning about Davide "sauntering" back to his position not so long ago... The two of them are pretty close tbh Now you come to mention it aye!!! Players do narf improve when they're missing for a while!!! Remember that Obertan kid, fucking lightning he was, all sorts of tricks and flicks, skinning people at will, awesome movement, ball control and crossing. Miss him like fuck
  13. This but with Santon rather than Haidara who I think lacks discipline in getting back and doesn't yet know when it's best to stay back or get forward. It'll come mind. Santon would be mint under a decent manager, having him and Janmaat on each side would be a dream for most managers - so comfortable with the ball, although you do need good centre backs to shore it up and Colo has a habit of getting dragged out when Santon or Haidara plays.
  14. You have to admire his balls tbh, he really doesn't give a fuck does he
  15. Chaos factor is a new one he's such a cunt

It would be quite funny watching him offer out 50,000 when we all boo him for being garbage
  17. Less than three weeks ago Alan Pardew was our manager and we literally had no hope for the short, medium or long term future. Feeling down? I'm still buzzing my tits off. I'm the same, don't give a fuck just happy that cunt has gone

    Shola Ameobi

He was never better than Championship level and would have probably been better in that league for most of his career or at least early stages
  19. We brought in a few in the summer with Janmaat (Good signing), Perez (Looks outstanding value), Cabella (Starting to get there?), De Jong (Hopefully decent when fit). Striker was the big one needed and they got Riviere (Who Pardew endorsed) and is not really good enough. But that's there plan 4 that could improve and 1 that probably won't retain the value. Pardew can't complain with the quality of at least Janmaat and Perez after all Colback was probably his signing and he likes players like Dummet and Williamson.
  20. I suppose Remy and Ba were not really replaced despite supposed efforts, we have ended up with Cisse, Perez and Riviere which is not really good enough at this level, however Pardew said he was quite happy with the signings we had made and felt we were strong. We do improve generally just not always in the most critical areas. Centre Half and Striker crucial as we are so weak there. We also need wingers and probably a better level of centre midfield but those 2 areas would be a great start. For wide areas hopefully Cabella and Aarons can strengthen us in those areas and we have the likes of Sissoko (If he stays), De Jong and Perez offering a decent threat going forward hopefully. I still think would could have played a better formation and tactically with more freedom He loaned out our CB, he also loaned out two creative players we had. So he actually weakened it. Recall HBA/Marv/MYM suddely that squad looks a lot better Yip, true we would have had greater options. Still can't quite believe he kept Williamson and Taylor and loaned MYM out because he had no faith in his heading abilities

  22. 1. that's his opinion. Edwards is banned however and as such might affect his writing. 2. Pardew Out was by all accounts weak and half-hearted. He should've received hell. 3. Agree with you. 4. He did have to accept the conditions of the job which he largely had no control of. He should've resigned though aye. He had all his eggs in De Jong's basket. 5. Ba too. Couldn't sign/keep Remy. All our standout performers during their time here. I go to the match and despised him from the beginning, others around me and mates never had that view initially but by the end they all could not stand them. Now that didn't mean they turned up at games and protested or booed for whatever reason but they could not stand how shit we were and held him as responsible as Fat Mike. Others may have been nervous about who we would possibly get when he left. I personally didn't give a fuck as I couldn't stand hearing the shit that came out of his mouth any longer
  23. The one thing I would worry about is if we don't sign a manager up now for whatever reason, wait until the summer and Carver somehow manages to keep us in top ten, they may take a chance on him. As things stand it appears they are trying to appoint somebody competent.

Agree with that we didn't look to sit back, however to bang on about how well we played while still losing 2-0 is mental, 2nd half we didn't turn up again and suggests he doesn't know how to motivate at half time, I think he should have made changes sooner as well. The one thing I noticed and I think to his credit is we looked to play the ball out from the back as much as possible, Krul was noticeably not trying to launch it everytime.
  25. Na, Pardew will have coached anything resembling football out of them in next few weeks. First game it was inevitable they would try dead hard but once they buy into Pardews methods properly they will be fucked.
