Jonas has looked for Shola and Carroll but his crosses havent cleared the first defender. I like him a lot but some seem to go to any lengths to defend him. How bloody patronising. I'm watching the game, and thats my opinion.

Who exactly? I dont see how things are much/any different to Septmeber when JFK was the only one who wanted it!! Surely someone like Roberto Martinez would take it. Ask Gary Speed, anyone really, even if it's just in the hope that they have a honeymoon period. We can have all the new players we want i don't think it will make a massive difference under Kinnear. Ketsbaia, he was begging for it. I thought Ketsbaia said he wouldnt take it under the current circumstances.

If you stick a ball across the face of the goal, there should be one of your team mates going for the ball. There hasn't been. Ameobi can't be arsed to move, and despite Carroll actually playing quite well he's sat on the back post most of the time.
-
In a ideal world, however he will take Jonas off. Jonas has been shit. His crossing and passing is atrocious. What bollocks. Most of the time there's fuck all to aim at.
-
Realistically Nolan and Taylor would be the safer bet because 1). barely any of us know what M'bia and Ebondo are like and 2). if they were to sign, whether or not they would adjust to the premiership.

I agree about Tevez, I've never really rated him in the top bracket of players in the world. He works really hard, but I don't think he's quite world class. Good player still though, would be delighted to have someone like him play for us.

Because a lot of managers like to think they can tame the bad boy footballers and get them on the straight and narrow. Err, Fat Sam is the only manager to sign Diouf after he left Liverpool, isn't he? Keane - Sunderland

Can something else happen now please, I'm getting bored of refreshing the same old crap every 5 minutes. -
he`s been confirmed captain for sunday I am now 100% certain that there will be no more central midfielders brought in before the deadline. All the public transfer targets have proven to be shite, the ones we were really after have arrived without a word. All this crap about Veloso and M'bia is hot air to keep everyone interested. Hasn't the deadline for which players can play on Sunday already passed, therefore anyone we sign between now and then has no bearing on team selection for Sunday?

Don't particularly rate the lad, Lee "yellow card" Cattermole perhaps. Cattermole would instantly be on the treatment table on account of Beye and Barton fucking him up as soon as he arrived. -
he's a talented footballer, young with pace who plays left wing and will probably leave for a decent fee they'll be queueing up to sign him min He's not THAT talented that you can justify such a shit attitude.
-
He really needs to fuck right off, what a stupid fucking cunt.

Have you ever made a post when something positive has happened for us?
-
I went with 7 when this thread was started, there was one point when I thought I was being overly pessimistic, but I think it's about right now, if not a little kind.
-
This sinking feeling is starting to becoming a frightening realisation.

Did you delete your post Dave or am I going insane?

Krul's out on loan isn't he? I guess it'll be Harper 1st choice with Forster on the bench. I may be wrong with regards to Forster, but every time I've seen reserve highlights of him he's look pretty impressive. He's big, looks very brave and a good shot stopper.

He is the weakest member of our first team, him and Butt. Bullshit. Absolute unfounded bullshit. Soz like, but it's my opinion. Which bit? Enrique or Butt? Please don't tell me you rate Butt, i might cry. The Enrique bit obviously mate. The boy can play football. Some people will not give him a chance though. Personally, I don't think Enrique is that bad, however if our team is fully fit I would say he was one our weaker first teamers. That's a first team that excludes Nicky Butt of course, say: Given, Beye, Colo, Bassong, Enrique, Jonas, Barton, Guthrie, N'Zogbia, Owen, Martins -

He would now the pressure is getting to him. If we were to offer cash plus Owen for Keane i reckon he would snap our hands off. Not that Keane would come here. Funnily enough I was just saying the exact same thing to my mate at work. Would be a good deal all round. Well, apart from for Keane -
Its up there with the most needed seeing as Beye's out for another few months.
