Can I ask what Duff did (other than being unpopular) to deserve a 4? He lost the ball almost every time and he didn't put in a good cross all game. What a load of crap. He put in 2 or 3 good crosses early on, and worked hard all game. I don't recall seeing him lose the ball much either. It's fair enough people on here not liking certain players, but when agenda's are developed its just bloody stupid. I don't particularly rate Duff, but if he's played well, he's played well. I'm not necessarily referring to you with regards to agenda's with players by the way, as I don't know if you do, but it appears you have one with that comment (like many others) as he had a decent game.

How can you play noticeably poor 90% of the time, yet not be considered shit. I think he's shit. If his legs have gone, he's no longer good enough.

Cant see that happening, Guthrie is looking good for us now, Kinnear would be MAD to drop him instead of Butt. If he does then i give him 2 games before he changes it. Why is it everyone bar NUFC managers can see through Butt? But he's a model pro..... I would like agree with you in that I couldn't see it happening, but with Kinnear, I really think its a possibility.

you also just know that we'll bring in 1 centre midfielder (Barry Ferguson) and it will be Guthrie that makes way for him, and not Butt.

Bassong didnt do anything wrong today, but didnt do anything to warrant getting a higher score than Colo. They both did their jobs, thats all.

Owen was one of our worst players today. Started brightly with good movement but missed lots of good chances, and had a poor first touch, especially second half.

Oh, and why the fuck Kinnear didnt bring anyone on I'll never know. Carroll should have come off, he was very quiet second half. I'd also happily see Steve Harper in centre midfield if it meant getting Butt off as well.

We really should have won that. Wouldn't say we played particularly well though. Nicky Butt was fucking terrible, the sooner he leaves the better. Jonas had a superb second half, especially towards the end, he just didnt stop running. How obvious was it that Fagan was going to be announced MOM over the tannoy though. He did fuck all other than be a mouthy dirty little shite. Duff, to his credit had a pretty decent game, and Guthrie (although he faded slightly second half) handled the hostility towards him really well. Jonas MOM for me.

Guthrie is playing really well, just getting on with it. I'd be suprised if Hull finish with 10 men, they are playing quite dirty. I don't know why he didn't just straight swap Jonas for N'Zogbia (who was fucking shite by the way), and kept Duff on the right as he was actually doing well there, and Jonas tends to be better on the left. We had a couple of chances early on that we should have scored, other than that, both teams have looked pretty sloppy giving the ball away in the centre of the midfield (other than Guthrie tbf).

Be surprised if it's anything other than to give him a rest. Quite a bastard of an injury he got, even though it didn't keep him out for months and months. Hopefully your right.

In all honesty, 6th spot is absolutely there for the taking. Unfortunately, as much as I'd love to be wrong, I can't see us being consistent enough to be the ones to take it.
