It could very well be, I would put nothing past Fred, money comes before everything! Cant say I really disagree with shepherd if that is the case though. I suppose the season is over for us anyway now and Fred will be thinking of the money but I for one would love to see Owen take some part in the last four games. I would as well, but as you say the season is pretty much over and it would keep him fresh for next season. I think we will see him before the season ends though.

I dont know why people think he doesnt have what it takes to be a DM since he played there last season and was fantastic at it. He just needs to be told that thats his position and to stay there! shame that doesnt look likely to happen though.

I'd post a video of Ronaldo's one season at Barcelona during the same age if I could but I'd get banned. People were actually comparing his talents to Pele, it's amazing how short sighted fans are in today's game that the both of them are even mentioned in the same breath. Culminated with the fact it was Ronaldo's first season in one of the big leagues whereas these performances now buy Cristiano are culminated of 4 years worth of step-overs, no end product etc. Can't believe I've actually lowered myself to be drawn into this argument. Well we arent talking about what he was like in the previous seasons we are talking about what he is like now, and he has been outstanding this season. And why cant people mention players of today in the same breath as players from 20-30 years ago, the only difference is that the players from 20-30 years ago have had 20-30 years worth of people building them up. And yes, Ronaldo at Barcelona was amazing but I don't think you can say that any player is far superior to Christiano Ronaldo and this moment in time because he is so effective at what he does.

I think we should keep him! He may have been inconsistent since his return but the whole team hasnt been performing. When hes been up front the service hasnt been particularly great so hes going to play inconsistently.

to be honest both teams looked a little jaded - dont agree with the sat/mon situation doesnt do much for the fans to watch never mind the players.... its fans money at the end of the day I find it a bit strange that players whine about playin 2 games in 3 days, they are fit as f*** and get paid for it. It shouldnt affect them that much. my team has a back log of games so Iv had to play Sat, Yesterday, Today and tomorrow, and I dont feel that bad! i agree they are fit but as a consequence you expect fast flowing high paced football doesnt matter how fit you are you'll be jaded in the prem after 2 games in 3 days unlike pub teams jogging around drinking lager at half time ;-) Mate, I resent that comment, I workin my arse off in a game and our manager beasts us in trainin! i actually play county football so its a step up from local football but still! lol sorry didn't mean to offend..... mind you if youre doing 3 in 3 thats some effort as for your manager beasting you... errrrr ;-) thats actually quite a sick thought, my manager is probably the fattest fucker I know! it is hard doin that many games, its hard enough just playin sat and sun for me most of the time and consider myself quite fit. Well, he turned up... He didnt do anything wrong today! He did mate. He did better than usual but he gave the ball away a lot (as did others mind) and he was at fault for their best chance. Sorry but I cant recall him giving the ball away lots, and he actually made a couple of decent important interceptions!
