If Duff is starting ahead of N'Zogbia week-in, week-out next season - then Roeder wants f****** shot. I would play Duff ahead of N'Zogbia to be honest. N'zogbia has been pretty shit this season as well. The fact that neither have had a consistent run in the team due to injury hasnt helped either of them.

Can any player in the last year of their contract buy themselves out of the contract? Would that mean that other teams could just pay for them to get out of their contract rather than paying a larger fee to the club? Im sure its much more complicated than that but was just wondering.

The thought of Roeder staying for 2-3 seasons actually almost infuriates me. I agree that we need stability but I dont think a stable shit manager is really going to be good for us. I have been in the "lets give him a chance" camp most of the season (up until the 2nd Alkmaar match), but I now think he should go. I think we should get rid of him the moment we become safe (which will probably be after the last game of the season), that way any new manager will have time to build a relationship with the players and plan his spending for the summer.

Oh and I think Given is the best in the prem if not simply because he is the only gk (other than perhaps Friedel actually) that has produced consistently season after season.

They gave Dyer a 3 out of 10 for England yesterday, I know he missed a couple of chances but still looked reasonable, didnt warrent a fuckin 3 thats for sure! Rant over!
